but we already know 720QM doesn't have integrated graphics

Original Poster

No integrated webcam
No Dedicated graphic card
No HD Screen

what 's the whole point of having an i7 processor ???

cpu should be 620m

and buyers are advised to see reviews before action

If it was a 620QM there would be a point to this i7, it would be double the cores of other Intel i3/5/7 mobile processors and double the thread count of a C2D quad. As it is it is just a jumped up i3/i5 with a bunch of features not really intended for a notebook in this low price range.

OTH, it's a Core i7 for £350, so if you are going to a get a core 15.5" notebook, this would seem like a good deal.

Still a great price for a refurb i7

Not with only a 3 month warranty though

You should put in the title that it’s a refurb with 3 months warranty.

It’s the entry level i7 which performs the same as a decent i5.
When you consider that it’s an Advent, a DSG Refurb and has a 3 month warranty and you look at what you can get for £350 to £400 from the Dell refurb site this is very cold. Dell refurbs are in a different class from the DSG group and you get a full warranty.

When do dell outlet update stock ??

Thanks Agharta, to save us all having to wade through Dell's data heavy, super slow outlet I'll pop the link to the cheapest (~£280) 17" laptops I could find there. outlet.euro.dell.com/Onl…dfh

This is for an i7 I hear you say, oh drat, wrong brain in gear this morning.

But that is still the page you get if trying to access their premium Intel Core i3/i5 Inspirons. For cheaper core i3's they suggest the lowly i3 330,

But I'm not even attempting to look at their next range up of laptops, free delivery for today only it would seem though.

This model is on offer at £281.98 40% discount at Currys/pcworld discount store in Chesterfield as a clearance model with 12 months warranty.
