Expensive for a 2 year old phone with the minimum possible memory. Cold from me.

I find it crazy how a phone that only 2 year old has lost £400 in value. My mother was laughing with her Nexus 4 which only cost £239 and she sold for £60, 4 years later.

what's your point exactly?

The iPhone 6 16gb was £539 at launch, so it's lost £330 in 2.5 years which is 61% of its original value. your mother's phone has lost 75% of its value since purchase. Cheaper items usually lose less actual cost because...they're cheaper. So obviously you'll lose a lot more money selling a brand new car two years later than you'll lose selling a PS4 two years later.

in this case though the stats aren't exactly that impressive on the part of this Nexus 4, and the Nexus 4 was a pretty rubbish phone anyway, so maybe it would have been worth paying more for a better phone. Some people buy phones to enjoy them, not to worry about how much money they'll be worth in three or four years.

Either way I wouldn't buy a 16GB phone these day, but for those who would it's still a decent phone in terms of performance.

Bought a 16gb iPhone 6 on o2 refresh for £177 if you are ready to wait for an unlock code and cancel the airtime plan and hope you don't get charged an ETF. Phone works great if you have never used an iPhone. Heat added anyway.

Was that a refurbished phone or brand new please? I am looking for a new(or refurbished) phone, preferably Apples.

Refurbished. Bought a grade C. Had a small scratch on the edge. Screen was spotless. Paid £177 for the phone. When tried cancelling the contract in the 14 days window, I was told to give a 30 days notice if I keep the phone. So paying £15 more for o2 service.
