Was looking for a gaming laptop for myself but I don't need a 960m with as little gaming as I will do.

Pros: everything in the title

Cons:
-the newest line of laptop gpus are much stronger (but will be lucky to find one under £1300)
-dvd unnecessary/extra weight
-apparently two versions of the screen panel (one meh, one good) and not sure which this one has
-only 3 month warranty
-laptop 1050 gpu is rumoured to be announced/released in January 2017 which is rumoured to be at least equal to the 970m
-only two left

960m prices haven't really moved since the 10xx gpus arrived. this isn't the best deal ever but might appeal to someone.

Plenty of Zoostorm 960m laptop deals on eBay

3 month warranty?! Goes pop then what?

Can't say about others but my thinking. If I have to spend £700 for a gaming machine with these specs but with only 3 months warranty, I would rather add another £50-100 and buy a brand new machine with a full 12 months warranty. Have seen a couple few days ago with the same specs MSI machine.

Voted hot though it is not a bad price.

Paid £690 a few months ago for the same machine, new, from PC World with a 12 month warranty.
It's a fantastic laptop. Boots in seconds, backlit keyboard, plays the latest games medium-high, decent battery life for the processor/graphics power. Highly recommended, but being a refurb maybe try and haggle a better warranty.

How did you get that price?

You used any discount codes or vouchers etc?

£690 is a bargain price with 960m for a brand new machine.

I looked into them and they have bad customer service and charge to get it fixed along with sending it to then fees. It's an option but I personally do not trust the product or the company much.

If you do, you can get great deals on eBay for them at grade A for £600.

 Very likely no on both.

Not him but...

This isn't the best 960m deal ever but it's decent. The dell 7559 has gone for £700 (rarely) in the past and the lenovo y700 was £700 just two weeks ago (but only for a short time, about 5 hours, before selling out/ price going up). You have to be smart and use quidco, online codes, asking for lower prices and constantly looking.

If you're like me and 960m isn't necessary right now/want to wait for 10xx gpus, I just bought a second hand i5 950m for £430+ accessories+8 month warranty which will easily keep me going until the 1050 laptops cost around £700. I'm lucky in the fact very few modern titles interest me and I can sell this to my parents who need a laptop in the near future anyway. Good luck with your search.

I have had this laptop for a year and it's good. The only problem I had was that it would restart randomly which drove me absolutely insane, eventually after much research I discovered there was a setting somewhere that would trigger an automatic restart if the device ever encountered a crash (or what it interpreted as a crash even if there wasn't one). Once I turned this off, all was right with the device.
