I'd be careful with this plan and this specific SFF model. The space for installing a card in the x16 slot is extremely limited thanks to the internal layout, meaning you're limited to a card that's both low profile AND single slot. Most of the more powerful low profile cards simply won't fit.

As you can see, the first PCIe slot is occupied by a x4 slot, leaving the x16 slot pressed up against the PSU. If they'd put the slots the other way around, it wouldn't be an issue. Many other SFF systems like the HP Elitedesks have no such restriction and can accomodate any low profile card.

Probably about what it's worth to be honest mate. Still a pretty solid find.
That's a pretty decent CPU to be fair. Worth this in parts I'd suggest
Any ITZOO recommendations for a decent windows 7 laptop ?

Any ITZOO recommendations for a decent windows 7 laptop ?

Encore computers do a great range of refurbished laptops, i got a 15.6 lenovo i3 think pad from them which was grade c, but was in a very nice condition for £90, i cannot fault it or the company. If you sign up for there emails you will also get £10 off your first order

Windows 7 Updates from Microsoft are ceasing from January 2020, so bear this in mind.

These make excellent hackintosh builds
I've one of these. As much PC as most people need. I used it to work from home, no issues at all.
If you are prepared to wait, the famous auction site gets plenty of these with low starting bids from some sellers
Lots of different specs

Good point, maybe look at one of the quadro cards
How does this compare to the surface go?
I use the surface as my day to day computer for taking to meetings etc. Struggling however when it’s attached to my 19” screen at home and it has to open large PDFs occasionally alongside other strenuous tasks.
Thinking I could have this setup at home in the office?
What would this be like to run the new Footy Manager?

I never use the 3D engine so graphics card wise I may not need one
Could the motherboard etc. be put in a larger case so there is room for a bigger gfx card and more hard drives?
sold out

You could probably fit this entire computer into a bigger case
Just kidding, I'd also like to know if this is possible.
By the way, you can add a second HDD to these as I bought one of these PCs last time round. You just need this caddy from Amazon. amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

Interestingly I was able to play the original Deus Ex game (circa ~2001) no problems, simply utilising the built-in graphics of the Intel CPU!

Yes, definitely. In fact that's what I would do if I bought this. I have done this with similar.

You might struggle to incorporate the PSU (with it's strange (small, potentially bespoke) form factor into the new case.

But for this plan (rehouse, GPU) you would want to be considering a new (normal size) PSU anyway.

No problem bud
You can get a pcie16x riser cable and perhaps squash a low profile gpu if you dont mind it looking terrible and being a bit dodgy, but it works.
