Just bought one of these with the intention of shoving an SSD in it to run backups / syncthing etc in my mums house. Looks like a nice deal to me..

Use THANKS10 or TWITTER10 to get 10% off and drop it to £81.

Thanks to waysan for pointing out there is a 12% discount code too : THANKS12

Edit: It's worth noting that this can take up to an i7 2600 or a Xeon E3-1240.

Bah, wish i'd known about that! I'll add it to the description, thanks!
Whack in a gt 1030 and this will run most esports and older games well enough
Does anyone know whether this will run a QHD monitor?
You can get same unit with 500GB and keyboard for £70 here:

This is a better deal for for £57.20 click. Then upgrade to something like a i5 3470 from Cex for £26.50 delivered click. Then sell on the i3 2120 for around £9 on eBay.

I'd rather pay the extra £9 and get 12 months warranty from a known company personally.

True, ITZoo do have a decent rep.

I noticed this dented case unit I3-4130, 500GB, 4GB (90 day warranty) for £65 which is also a good deal. Most time units are tucked away.

They have been on HUKD a lot with no problems.

Is this beer than the original post? Also can it be upgraded to 8GB Ram? thanks
Decent supplier these...had a problem with an i5 that I bought from them recently and they were very helpful in resolving the problem.

It has a newer 4th gen I3 which has a better onboard graphics (4400 gfx vs 2500 gfx) and is slightly faster. You could push this unit further with a CPU upgrade (see bottom link to Lenovo spec sheet)
cpuboss.com/cpu…240

The motherboard has 2 ram slots. Its likely the ram will be 1x 4GB stick (not 100% sure), so expansion would be possible with another 4GB stick. If its 2x 2GB ram installed, then you would remove 1 or 2 current sticks to upgrade them.

As mentioned in the description on site, this has missing rubber feet and a scratch/dents on case, but the specs are better. Warranty is also shorter 90 days vs 1 year, so it depends on your attitude on these factors.

These make perfect 1080p streaming / video playback machines.

Grab the cheaper one though as 4GB ram is fine for media playback purposes.
I have no complaints with Itzoo, I bought a Mac mini and it has been faultless and exactly as described. I also sent an email after 6pm on Friday just gone and had a reply within 10 minutes.
As far as I am concerned, that is good service.
I’m a novice! How easy is it to put in an SSD and move operating system onto that, andboot feom that. Presumably you leave currentHDD in place and use to save data there?

Purchased the lenovo unit.Thank you very much for the information.
I'm going to put a Thinkcentre with similar specs (i3 3220, 4GB, 500GB) on eBay using the £1 listing offer tomorrow because I bought it from a deal on here and don't actually need it at all. Would happily take what I paid (£50 plus postage) if anyone wants to save me putting it on eBay.
Got a Optiplex 7010 from ITZoo last year it's been going fine. 16gb ram 2x SSD..it flies!

Think about getting this one to replace a aged office PC (AMD SEPRON 140 )

I'd just install WIndows 10 from scratch, it's pretty easy and shouldn't cause any real problems.

Do a fresh install on the SSD. Don't copy an existing windows from a 3.5 HD to SSD. A SSD drive makes a huge amount of difference in speed, load times etc..east to install. Sata and power cable. Done.

This video covers how to install the SSD: youtube.com/wat…18s

Create a bootable installation USB stick for a fresh install from here: microsoft.com/en-…s10

This video covers the Windows installation (ignore where it refers to a Win7 key as you will be using the Win10 key that comes with the PC in this deal): youtube.com/wat…qs0

Good luck.

I was looking for one to use for streaming video/kodi etc which ine would be better do you think? Must have hdmi of course

Does anyone know whether this will run a QHD monitor?

No. Best resolution for the HD2500 is 1024x768, which lands nowhere near QHD. Unless you're willing to put in a cheap modern GPU like the 1050 then it shouldn't run (well).

The onboard 2500HD is not limited to 1024. We use them at work with Full HD monitor.
You may be forced to 1024 for games, but for office use 1920 is no problem.

Per:
intel.com/con…tml
For 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors the maximum supported resolutions are:
  • DisplayPort 1.1 = 2560x1600 at 60 Hz
  • HDMI 1.4 = 1920x1200 at 60 Hz
  • DVI (Single-link) = 1920x1200 at 60 Hz
  • VGA = 2048x1536 at 75 Hz

I would go for the one I posted a while ago as the only difference is it has 4GB of RAM rather than the 8GB here (you're paying £22 for a 4GB stick of DDR3). You don't need the extra 4GB for the purpose you've mentioned. The one below only £57.20 with the code:

Del 3010 SFF 4GB

I've installed 4x of these as 1920x1080p video playback / streamers and they're perfect for that role.

Even using the included 250GB HDD is acceptable but if you put a cheap small SSD in there they fly for that task.

These have on-board HDMI so are ideal for TV use.

Yea cool! I use to be an IT technician but it's been a while since I've fiddleed with a PC! I'm use to the old DDR2 dims and sim socket 7 CPU's

Didn't wanna get the wrong type of ram! Gonna upgrade to 8gb and stick a SSD in and it should be enough for a office PC 👌
