Found this refurbished bean to cup machine on delonghi eBay refurbished with one year warranty. I bought one and it looks like new checked the staticits stats menu on the machine and it had only made 32 coffees works perfectly and makes cappuccino with one button press.
i think it’s a pretty decent deal even for a refurb it’s 640 on amazon and 700 in currys

Nice catch op, heat added!
I've got this one sent to delonghi for a service. A process which has taken about 3months to get to. Delonghi has to be the slowest company to deal with. Really don't think I'll see my machine anytime soon
Got this machine, it's really good. If you ever have a problem with the frothing jug not frothing enough, just pm me, I found a solution.

Ps. Don't bother pm'ing me as I've put remedy in thread. Let me know if it works!

Well, you tube says replace the bit that come out of the machine-i would say not necessary. But, after you've descaled save the liquid, put it back in water container. Attach the milk frother, then press the clean button on the jug. Leave it a little bit, then keep repeating the sequence. I would say the solenoid or whatever scales up, this seems to solve it. As I say just do it as many times as you think necessary. Thinking about it I may have double pressed the capuccino button for the frothed milk option. Keep doing this on and off a previous instructions, I think this is the best way, but no harm will come if you do both ways.
Obviously you don't have to wait till you descale, just make some any time. I shall be making this part of my descaling regime as I only recently have had this problem.
Good luck.

Thinking more, doing the capuccino double press on the button is probably the better method.

I've just gone from a Delonghi bean to cup to a sage and I dont regret it one bit.

The Sage is far superior, genuinely tastes like proper coffee shop stuff. The Delonghi would always under extract, I was never happy with it tbh. Admittedly it was a different model to this, so perhaps a different story.

I think this model slightly over extract. Just slightly?

What do you mean by proper coffee shop? Hopefully not Costa, Starbucks, Nero et Al.

Get over yourself.

They used under extract, so they’ve probably got an idea.

Nice coffee snob attempt though.
I've had this machine for 3 years with no issues and love it. Can be had for £329 new when on offer at Curry's and it is on offer regularly
I returned this . despite using good quality expresso beans, cappuccino was still weak no matter what setting I put it on.
Lovely machine if you want Latte

Thank you. I'm not here to get drawn into a pathetic argument, only to share my own experience.

That was my Delonghi, as I said it's a lesser model than the one posted, but it wouldn't surprise me if the result is similar given the poster aboves comment.

I bought the Sage bes85uk.

The results are night and day difference & can thoroughly recommend.
I got a steal at £350 from Hughes last week too, so it's worth holding out for a deal
