Ever since my 7-year old Dell PC died I've been looking for a standard cheap and cheerful Desktop/Tower PC with at least an Intel i5 quad-core processor and 8 GB of Ram. I wasn't too bothered about graphics or SSD's etc as it's only for home/office use not gaming.

This exact same PC (but with 3TB hard drive) is sold in Currys for £449.99, but my budget was around £350 so when I saw this refurbished version I bought it straight away.

In my opinion it's definitely worth the lower price and for the specs it's a bargain. It feels 100x faster than my old PC despite it coming full of bloatware and running Windows 10.

My only word of warning would be that for the love of God please do not try to open up the case!! I just wanted to check everything inside was ok as it arrived with some small dents to the left-hand side outer panel casing (probably why it was reduced/refurbished). Everything inside was fine, but when I took the case off, 3 different parts of the casing simultaneously fell apart including the main front panel which started to slightly de-attach itself. As I tried to click it back in to place I heard something rattling inside and found out it was the clip that held it together at the top. After a lot of time and frustration, I finally managed to re-assemble all of the casing back together again but I don't think I'll ever attempt to take it off again unless I absolutely need to.

These are the full specs I have added some extra info that's not provided:

i'm not convinced, can pick up the i5-6400 used for around 100-120, don't think the rest of that is going to be worth 200-220, I know you'd have to build yourself but would put the parts inside to shame.

Not voted, just don't think people should be swayed by pre-built

The 3 month warranty is also a joke
