Rather buy a shark over the overpriced Dyson

Each to their own. I've had my V8 for over 2 years now, can't fault it, worth every penny.

Ordered a refurbished model and received a brand new one with the full 2 year guarantee.

Instead of ranting politics on a hukd forum why don't you go and do something about it.

I come here for cheap deals on things I don't need but buy anyway, not to read comments from keyboard warriors working themselves up

To those moaning I own both. Brought the shark around Xmas 2019. Really enjoy using it. Till I brought dyson v10 refurb. The sharks suction doesn’t come close. In all honesty, shark is top heavy and harder to clean, However the shark feels more robust. I actually prefer using the dyson now and the shark sits upstairs.

Indeed it is.

You say overpriced, yet shark came into the market with the same pricing as Dyson?

We all have different opinions when judging if something is worth our hard earned money. My opinion is, buy quality - buy once. Not a knock on Shark, but Dyson is in a league of it's own.
Had this when it was 5% off, previously had a corded and a handheld Dyson and this is amazing, replacing both of them. Like a lot of people I actually got the brand new model with 2 year warranty so a saving of almost £150. Pricey I’ll admit even with the discount but you get what you pay for here.

100% Agree with you on this , I think a small minority hate on Dyson for fun, Why cant we appreciate what they have done for our Country, One of the Global Innovators, Coming to aid in a global pandemic crisis in under 2 weeks, We need to learn to appreciate Dyson

Also their vacuums are BLOODY fantastic!
Great Price, Even better machine, I have the v10 total clean and its such a dream, My 10+ Year old Dyson upright was on its last legs, Dyson offered me a discount towards buying a new cordless instead of £99 for a repair to fix it, why not , the same power if not more as my old upright and i just love it, ive done plenty of in store demos, even with the shark and its just horrid, deep cleaning with a shark is a myth

One of the only companies in the UK which didn't furlough its staff and kept them on 100% pay, i have a friend who works there, and i couldn't believe it, thats what you call class in this modern day and age

Ordered this when the 5% code was live and got 1800 nectar points. Not disappointed. An excellent upgrade form the V6. Worth every penny!

This was no refurb either, I got a brand new machine with 2 year warranty.

How do u know if u have recieved a brand new or refurb? I ordered this and packaged well. Looked and felt brand new. I registered my product online, and stated it was a 2 year guarantee. Will they uphold this when claiming for something? Or will they know from the model/batch no. It is a refurb batch?

You received a new item. If you registered the warranty and only received 1 year, then it would've been a refurbished model.
Again? Refurbished for over £300 ?! Big NO from me

From my experience of buying Dyson's from curry's, Dyson eBay outlet and even refurbished site, same thing applies for brand new or refurbished, on the guarantee system it doesn't flag as refurb, buy with confidence
I only came here for the "i'D rATheR bUy a sHaRk, dYsOn oVerPrIcEd" comments. Not left disappointed. Its a brand & a personal choice. Dyson/Shark, Apple/Android & Tory v Labour. Always brings out the people who think their opinions, are what matters..

Dyson-Apple-Tory gets voted HOT by me
does someone know what is the difference between the deal posted here and this one. The seller for this one is "dysonoutlet" (As opposed to the seller for the deal posted here "dyson_outlet") Ok it might be the USA seller. the piont is that it's basically the same price but for a new v10.

This is the US store - not sure how shipping/returns would work as well as warranty. Plus, you'll likely receive a brand new one anyway with the one from the UK outlet store.

Thank you for a fair comparison!
OK, I went for it. Thanks for posting the deal Tobargainornot.
I have 3 dysons so i dont hate them but, Newer dysons are cheap plastics not made to last. That does include the battery ones. £320 for a vacuum thats going to last max 3 years is alot of money. Costumer services are excellent tho
I just took the hit, hopefully it's all newish when I get it. Been waiting to get one and finally done it. Thanks OP. I I saw it cheaper earlier this month but I doubt that price point will ever appear again and plus the extra tools must make up for a bit of money lol to get into the debate Sharks are great but just on the bulky side vs a dyson.

Which model Shark is that? Genuine question - how are you supposed to clean the stairs and in corners etc when the cleaning head is so huge?

As it's such a large cleaning head, I assume it's an all-in-one type that can automatically switch between a soft roller (for hard floors) and brush roller (for carpets)? I have a V10 and that's the only part I can really imagine being significantly improved - an all-in-one head so that I don't have to switch between the two. Oh and a digital battery gauge (which the V11 has).

If you owned a business and the large majority of your sales were in Asia, would you make your product in England or Asia?....

Also what most people fail to realise is that they already had a factory there for years
