Offering a 1 year guarantee, same story as the Dyson outlet - refurbished, or shop returns. Currently have a V11 Absolute for £399.99. Last time they had one of these it was £449.99 so seems like a good price this week

Well, if you want a V11 it is £200 under RRP...

There are lots of expensive things in life, still possible to have a deal on them... jesus this place..
I'm sure it's a deal.... But I can't get over how expensive this is.

I didn't even pay that for my first or second car.

Too expensive even if it is a deal, Dyson are really milking it especially as ive read some batteries have failed after 3 years on previous models.

Batteries fail in all devices after a few years - rechargeable batteries deteriorate. You can just phone dyson and get a new one for free. Done it many times with my V6.
I've got a feeling Dyson I gonna discount these heavily on black Friday. Just a hunch, but maybe worth waiting 4 weeks to find out.

That is true. My V8 failed after year 2. Even with a full charge it cuts out. We then have to put it on the charger for a few seconds and then it works for like another 30seconds
Relative Had a nightmare with this company, had to get trading STANDARDS INVOLVED

Our Dyson is complete and utter garbage. Passes over specs of dust and debris without even moving them let alone picking them up. Overpriced junk whatever the price is.

Do you know how long they warranty the battery as that sounds promising. I guess they won't replace them out of warranty.

Don't tell them it is slowly dying. If you tell them that when you pull the trigger the light flashes more than 15 times this is the sign of a damaged battery (happens if you leave it charging in a boiler cupboard as I found out - the heat ruins them). They have always sent me a new battery free (on my 3rd). Within the warrant period only, but they give you a 1 year extension for the new battery - so just do it once a year I about about to buy a friend one off ebay with "damaged battery" and then use my own warranty to get another one for free to replace it... Dyson are very good at handing batteries out in my experience

Thanks for this, I have been keeping my eye on the store for a V6, but if they are hard to get hold of I might test their customer service before buying

Constantly. Always taking it apart to clean it out and it still doesn't work. It's funny how they advertise their vacuums as cordless and amazing with high power batteries.

When in actual fact they know God dam well these vacuums wont last more than a year or two and so your forced to buy a new one.

Just like a washing machine timer that's set to go off and break the machine just after the warranty runs out.

Great vacuum but brand new is only £499 at the moment with 2 year warranty.

Not the same model though is it. Completely different battery technology. You get what you pay for.

We had the same issue on V8 after 2 years. Phones Dyson and they sent a free battery

Nope. Standard practice you discount the lesser models so that the plebs buy like mad. You keep your premium product above 450.

Yes they do answer. Never had any issues with their customer service. A dispatch error is just that, an error.
Most of the people whinging about dysons dont look after their machines properly. Dont clean filters properly, dont take care with the brushes etc etc The benefit of dyson is decent warranties and decent after sales support. Plus it cleans like no other machine around without any loss of suction. I too though it was just hype until i bought a bigball dyson.

You dont work for them by any chance? Lol

If you read my comment it was more than a dispatch error!!
refused to pick up item, wouldnt answer e mails, basically sham of company from what i can gather
and relative said she never dealt with such an awful company, and couldnt praise her local trading standards enough!
If youve never had a problem, then you seem to be in the minority, after the reviews ive since read about this company!

Seems a LOT of people went through the same problems as my auntie! so again, i say, BEWARE!

I can only say I’ve only ever received first class service from them whenever I’ve spoke to them.
