Not "3ghz DDR2 Memory". 3gB maybe.

Jesus, I'm having a mare this morning!
"entry level laptop"
2Ghz dual core LoL, I remember 8Mhz 286 IBM's, so to call these entry level or similar always makes me smile.
Nice machines, good price, heat.

nice price....but how much for a new battery:

"All our refurbished Laptops are supplied with batteries that have been tested to ensure they hold a charge however we cannot guarantee that the manufacturers advertised maximum battery life can be achieved"

Vista OS makes this a little dated, too.
also DDR2 memory
DDR2 and Vista yes, but for under £190 it's excellent. Remember, many people won't have the budget to buy the latest tech....this will be perfect for them I reckon.
Good processor, not enough ram or hd space, crap os.
Thou I'm slightly tempted to update my T3100 I got last year, even thou the hd and ram is bigger.
Um what shell one do lol
It is Vista Home Premium - perfectly usable for web browsing and light use.
Personally I don't think it's a great deal. Old O/S (Vista) and present day celerons are faster than this!

Swap the ram and the harddrive ;-) as a matter of fact these two things never bother me as you can find cheap, specially here in HUKD
The medion posted recently @£200 is a better deal, it was expired as it went up to £249 but its back down to £200
have found build quality on fujitsus to be excellent

I'd agree. Of the different laptop brands I've used so far the fujitsus has stood up well to regular travel.
nice price, fujitsus always good quality IMHO

wish i had seen this last week before I picked up the acer deal
This is a Core 2 Duo powered laptop which still has excellent performance even though it launched back in 2006. Vista SP2 is much better than the original one and the only real complaint is the speed, but you could easily load Windows 7 onto it.

Also remember the Medion machine has no internal optical drive making it a deal-breaker for some (not me).

Why is it not enough RAM? the fact its a 32bit operating system means it won't be able to use more then 3.25gb of memory anyway.

Agree about the O.S mind and the HDD, this is a good deal.

Not enough for what?
3GB is plenty for the vast majority of users , as is 160GB unless you are storing heaps of video files on your laptop
Thanks very much OP! Just bought one for my mum. All she needs is a laptop for surfing, pictures emails. Absolutely perfect and a great price! Heat added!
This makes me feel ill. I think they'd need to give me £189 to make me want a laptop with Vista, only 160gb HDD and only integrated graphics. I think you could probably find a cheaper netbook with better spec than this.
The Advent M200 for @ ~£170 on the PC World outlet is a better deal (although OOS at the moment though)

Win 7 64 bit, 2gb ddr3 ram, 400gb hard drive, led backlit... the only thing worse is the cpu, which is still dualcore, but it's a celeron
The CPU on the Advent is actually better, check out t3300 vs t5750

T3300 = 1388, T5750 = 1116 (higher = better)

I stand corrected then. Better deal all round if it's 3 month warranty isn't too much of a problem - I'd personally hold out and keep my eye on the PC world outlet for it to come back in stock. Potentially another 10% off for some as well

A netbook with atom processor and 1gb ram will be better spec than this...? lol

+1
As this is a refurb and obviously rather old having Vista OS, makes me wonder how second hand it is. There are so many good deals about at the moment, I'd rather wait for a newer model, myself. Having said that it may be more robust with a decent keyboard than some of the newer models, so maybe not so bad after all!

Take a look here, the T3500 is much quicker

I was really surprised to find Celerons beating, core2duo cpus
Hummm,

The Good:
- Fast Processor
- Plenty Of Ram
- Decent Manufacturer

The Bad:
- Battery life is AWFUL! Lasts 30 mins if your lucky.
- even WORSE Graphics setup! All that processor speed and memory is let down by graphics that struggle to run windows let alone anything else!
- the Touchpad gets VERY HOT!

Had one of these from brand new (though mine was 1.87ghz model with 2gb RAM) . I diddnt keep it very long because of the negatives mentioned above.
CPU was fast in it's day, Current celeron cpus are now faster!
