I've had no issues with them. As with everything, different people, different experiences.
Bought a 'good' iphone 6s and 'very good' s8 in the recent eBay 20% deal. Really pleased with both. Only very minor defects on the i6s.
Ive bought a "good" S7 and a "good" S6 and both were near perfect.
Galaxy S8 plus was £343 on there with the recent deal

What does near perfect mean? i got a good s7 from them and it had a small dent in the top right corner metal trim, a rather big scratch on the home button, and some very minor scratches on the display, and of course two biggish scratches on the back from sitting on the table (obviously wasn't used with a case) i wonder if thats the norm for good condition or if i was unlucky, if i`m thinking of sending it back as if i were to buy it second I would have only probably paid 10-15 pounds more for an equivalent second hand one admitedly without warrany.

Based on that i wouldn't risk it again especially at this price for the S8

I got a note 8 from mm very recently described as very good, and it was literally brand new, I inspected it, and could/can not find a mark.

Yes based on the way my good one looks I imagine that the very good ones are probably spotless like probably just a week or two of usage while pristine ones are as good as new 1 week or less of usage.

I would get a very good one from them but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend getting a ''good'' as unless your lucky it will have visible marks, and at this price is debatable if its worth it.

How much was it switchy?
Had a 'pristine' s7 edge off them and had a mark on the back and couple of marks on the screen so certainly NOT how they describe prestine on their grading videos, unmarked as new but that wasn't the real problem, the battery was.Couldnt get more than 3 hours screen on time before it shutdown. To be honest I've never had much luck with used from recyclers or even Amazon, they've all come up short on what has been described.

£429 with the ebay code, have now got it on ebay as ironic as that sounds...
Obviously a different account to the one I bought it on.
I love my s8+ too. Are these same as cex but trade online only? I personally think they grade them really good. My s8 however looked very good condition but I gave it a good wipe and now that looks immaculate too.

I never thought I would be a s8 owner in 2018 lol
We have just received a very good condition and it's basically brand new in original box only thing missing was the plug but cable pin new earphones were all included Bargin!!

When eBay had the 20% off code the other day, i used it to get a note 8 for £429 that was originally £529, sadly that code has now expired. Maximum discount was £100.

Same as the Pixel I got last week. Sold as very good condition but battery is terrible and it heats up when used even for a minute. It's going back.

I have bought 3 phones from them and it's 50/50 with their grading systems, your taking a risk! It's a gamble really!

Certainly looks like it, you might get a great condition phone or you might not, i'd say its a gamble not worth taking unless you go for at least very good condition and/or returns are free.

Any ideas how return work, do you pay postage, i`m tempted to send my S7 back, its ok I suppose but nothing outstanding considering I could have probably got the same second hand from a private seller 10-15 more at the most.

Goodluck if you recieve clean phone from them

Agree, I've had some awful phones arrive from this company. Latest s7 edge was supposed to be "very good", had about 7 scratches, 3 of them very deep in the screen, and the digitizer was faulty. Clearly not much attention payed by whomever tested and graded it. Customer support is hit and miss, they stopped replying to me so I had to start over with the website contact form. Bit of a headache, ill stick to using them for cheaper trhings but not phones.

I just got an 28th from them.. was described as good..and it was it. little fine scratch at the top, that's it.

they accept returns anyway, so shouldn't be a problem, in case there is a problem.

I'm very happy.

Because as above I have now bought a very good, and had a different experience, the good condition htc one m8 I bought a couple of years ago was horrendous, but maybe in the last two years they've upgraded their grading system.
I stick by my comments, but that was based on an older experience.
I bought iPhone 8 256 from them 2 weeks ago. With 10% off for subscribing to their news letter stacked on top of that with 50£ off voucher. Well please with it.
The condition was stated as pristine. And it was pristine
great price. bought my S8 for £629 brand new in November, now it's worth about £269 if i sell it to CEX (admittedly more if i want to sell it through eBay). Starting to think buying new isn't worth it anymore with these companies offering 12/24 month warranties on phones.

The return is free, however, you may get back the same phone after "repair", which has still same issues. Happened to a friend is mine...
I recently had to return a phone to them after 10 months of use (developed a fault with the screen) and they said they can't find a replacement (although I can see some on their website!) and returned the money instead
