I'd recommend this Hisense as Vestel (manufacturer of the OP 'Hitachi') have poor build quality. I purchased the Hisense recently and am impressed with it, complete with 6 year warranty for £349.

Purchased this about 6 months back for £329 (new year sale at Argos if I recall).

Honestly, i'm impressed for the money. Yes it's not the top end of the TV Market but for three hundred quid, you cant go wrong. Smart features are useless, but that's what you but a fire-stick (or similar) for.
i have the older one that i HD not 4k in the bedroom. It has been great for us. The smart side of it can be a bit prehistoric and slow though. I don't really use the smart features.

Was £339 3 years ago. (just a bit of useless info to add)
Pricey for a refub 50" Vestel plus you have to ask yourself why do they have over 70 of them and whats the reason behind the high return rate? Hmmmm
I've got a smarr 32 inch full hd Hitachi in the bedroom can't fault it.
I saw a tv advert for a 50 inch Toshiba 4K tv for £349 new (Currys/Argos I think).

If your not worried about 4K then I got a referb HD version for £219.99 a few weeks back. For the price I’m very very pleased with it.(Argos outlet).

Hit ouch chi
I genuinely would not recommend Hitachi I've had 4 replacements from Argos and each one has had issues with the screen. Maybe I've been super unlucky but they seem low quality.
