4gb ram folks, that's a good price. No touch screen so avoid if you need Android apps, but if not go for it

Lack of touchscreen doesn't preclude android apps. Have a non touchscreen Chromebook I got with my pixel and the majority of apps are fine. Very rare for me to bump into one where it's a problem
I agree but touchscreen is a bonus if you like to play the odd game
You legend! i was literally just looking for one for my son for school Saw this and snapped it up. Heat +++

Even gaming I've yet to find a problem,.most games happily take input from the keyboard. At most I'd say you may want an additional mouse for added accuity but even then. Not a big issue
Does anyone know if you can you install Android / Playstore apps on this?

Thanks

£100 tho
The Acer CB3-431 in A2 condition was available at this price with a full HD display (and full metal chassis) yesterday, but either way sub-£100 for a 4GB/32GB Chromebook is still a good price. No moving parts so should be pretty reliable too - I'd chance 3 months warranty myself.
Any idea how long this will be supported by updates?

Have several chromebooks which no longer receive updates ( or got the android play store )
This looks really good, I’d buy one for my Grandad if he wasn’t used to Windows.

My TCB got knocked back from Laptops Direct, may have been because I used the which trial code.

For £100? I looked yesterday I've only ever seen it at £150 mark

I pasted the link in the Acer thread, it didn't last long as it was £40 cheaper than the A1 condition machine and I'd honestly rather save £40 and not worry about a few minor marks so I went with the A2 grade unit. You can't hang about with the Laptops Direct graded stuff...

Is everybody else's display significantly hard to see when viewed from above/below?

It's a SVA (TN) display. Yes, they are awful. Should have gone for the Acer Chromebook 14, the Full-HD version. Nice IPS screen on that.
