I have purchased several Itzoo refurbished products and they have been top notch. Processor alone is selling for £153 on Ebay. I could never afford anything like this before so its great to be able to pick this speck up now at such a reasonable price.

Bought a laptop from this company last week. Very pleased with it. Great spec for a low price.

Bravo good sir, a great find:
8gb ram, 256gb ssd and a quad core (4770) i7 CPU
(NOT MADE FOR GAMING, but a good find nonetheless)
Actually ordered one of these about 15:00 today for work, they say it is already packed and ready for shipping.

Shame I missed the new customer discount.
What's the upgradability of these like? Could I slam in an another drive for media storage?
Ebuyer currently have an i5 6th gen 4gb ram 256gb ssd pc for £450 however its £300 after cashback? Probs a better deal than this - search 786560

Not made for gaming but can you put a good card in it?

A low profile gtx750 or low profile gtx1050 should be fine. I have one of these (not from this deal) and that's what I was deciding on

There's no cashback, it's trade-in deal for businesses or organisations operating in mainland UK and Northern Ireland only. So not better deal.

Low profile 1050ti is the most powerful card available, which is surprisingly competent.
4th gen is out

And then you could use it for vr?
Bit risky cracked, chips might fall out.
These are good machines and will last for years, much like the previous Elite 8200 and 8300 models.

I must be old as i remember when PC's always came in desktop cases and that was the norm (Horizontal form factor).

However on a different note i use one of these machines at work and they are in tower format (They work either orientation), its a good spec machine for the price..

Would probably help if you put down what it actually is, a small form factor.

Funny thing is some business probably got rid of these because they were out of warranty.
Would this make a decent Hackintosh?

It wouldn't be bad for beginners especially if you can find a good price low profile 1050 Ti like the MSI low profile, and considering a lot of 1050 Ti deals it would be bad at all
Love this Company, one of the best and most reliable around
Pick lots of these up off eBay around £200 mark lots of companies flogging off their old used computers.
Lol. PS/2 which is obviously a wonderful thing when you really need it, but has been absent for many years and sorely missed.
Love seeing these with additional GFX cards although they can run 3 monitors with onboard via 2 X display ports and a VGA port.

Good machines, robust, like them and work with them all the time.
OP you absolute stinker! Looked it up, reviews fine and extremely fast, will go like the wind with the SSD

Anybody know how many RAM memory slots it has? - as I have a few sticks kicking around
Has this only got the one HDD bay?

Will it come with HP BIOS not password locked from a previous user?

Wondering whether to bite to use to run as a nvr for a home CCTV system. Of course the SSD would need swapping out for a 24/7 spec hdd.

Thanks.

Yup but one of my bosses believes in penny pinching on old tech, just does not get it :-)
This had already been posted until some tw@t couldn't figure out the 10% discount on the price:

Low profile 1050ti in this would make it an awesome gaming machine.
amazon.co.uk/MSI…IAQ
It's a great card.

Even a 1030 would make a decent low level gaming rig.
amazon.co.uk/Gig…9P/
I've put these in a few old office computers and they run most games fine on low settings.
Good systems and IT-Zoo are pretty good (though I usually go direct as IT-Zoo is the consumer side and more expensive). The HP Elite desktops are SFF and have lots of proprietary parts. While the systems are stable and reliable, it's the very-hard-to-source power supply I'd be worried about having had this issue in the past with Dell and HP SFF machines and they're basically strip for scrap as the PSUs are expensive.

it's a fair point but with normal home usage this unit should typically last 10 years or more with no power supply unit issues, it's not as if PSU is a known problem

Maybe. I only highlighted the PSU as it’s one of those unknowns and isn’t quite as solid state as something like a CPU, it should be fine but if it does go pop it’s irritating at the very least and it’s normally something silly like the cooling fan. I would just prefer the modularity of a normal ATX unit - PSUs are typically one of those places people cut corners that’s all and people are talking about running moderately powerful GeForce graphics too. With luck it’ll be fine though
