Tesco have launched refurbished iPads. New to the site and with a saving of £60 these seem like pretty good value especially with 32gb memory capacity. Details state they are Apple approved refurbs and just as good as new. Compatible with the latest iOS Software.

Ipad 4's are effectively unusable. Ipad mini 2 new for £239 at curry's is a much better buy

But if you are looking for a larger screen than the mini, this is a good option?

A piece of cardboard and a pen would serve as a better tablet then this.

£190 overpriced.

Its certainly nowhere near a price id ever pay for it.

In reality, if this had not been an Apple product, it would be half the price.

why is it unusable? I use mine on latest iOS version?

I still have use of an Ipad 2.. and works a dream

Why is it unusable?

I use mine daily no probs

Could be an issue like my Samsung Galaxy Sll, the android software is dated and I cannot do banking on it because the software doesn't run on the early stuff.. a bit like having windows 98 on your computer.

Effectively unuseable. What a load of rubbish. I have an Ipad 2 and a mini1. I use them! They are slower than they used to be since IOS 8 which is a little frustrating but unuseable? Please don't come on here and spout a load of crap.

Maybe I have a different use case to you. For work at sixth form they are now almost unusable, maximum 3 apps in the background and incredible keyboard lag. Constant crashes and restarts, and a lot of my friends with the same ipad 4 have the same situation.

we have 2 ipad4's both running the latest ios both working fine. browsing, Netflix, YouTube and minecraft are their main uses and they handle them all fine. still not a hot deal tho. should be £150 max by now.

Would his mini with 4g be a better buy? … Would his mini with 4g be a better buy? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apple-iPad-mini-7-9-Inch-16GB-WiFi-4G-White-Unlocked-Tablet-From-Argos-ebay-/351907970087

No. It's even worse.

The 4G is for the cellular data function rather then indicating the version.

Bought. Not a great offer but still a pretty good one, doesn't deserve the cold vote. 'Apple certified refurbished' tablets are not like other sellers refurbs, they have new batteries and new casings which makes them functionally and cosmetically 'as new'. This is the cheapest 9.7" currently available, plus I had £25 of clubcard vouchers which made it quite sensibly priced. Thanks.
