2gb and 4 gb price is good but cant agree with 8gb.

I agree the 8GB is probably the worst value but it was posted recently as a bargain at £82 from Bargain-Crazy so at £12 cheaper i thought it should be mentioned.

All come with free delivery by the way. Quidco cashback / discount vouchers / Egg card also possibilities to reduce the price further.

Just ordered ipod nano 2GB after the happy hours (£29.99):w00t: :whistling: :whistling:

I also ordered the 2GB in happy hour. Wondering now if the 4GB @ £39.99 is better value but i think i will just stick with my order as cancelling from Dixons can be a pain (i.e. they will probably still send it out).

It has to reach a certain temperature, which i think is about 40 degrees

Has to get over a certain temp before it goes to the front page. Somewhere about 37degs I think?

Edit: beaten to it by bryntaylor... ;-)

Nice, and 3% cashback from egg card, and maybe 3% from quidco. Any vouchers we can use on top of that?

Same here - The 4GB was £59 earlier today.

There CS finished at 6pm and you can't cancel online. I'll stick with the 2GB, it'll be plenty big enough for the missus.

'A' grade IS £59, the 'B' grade is £39.

Ok thanks for the info. I see its on there now. I wasn't aware of this but thinking about it, it is a good idea.

Dixons site is slow

Hi what will the difference in quality be from A to B grade??

Should be the same in use. Maybe a few more dings on the B, but Ipods get scratched silly within a week anyway.

which is the best deal 2gb or 4gb

Cheers OP lost my 2Gb Gen 1 Nano on Tuesday now ordered a Gen 2 to replace it.

Lost mine a couple of days ago and even at a year old it was completely unmarked, then again I didn't remove the screen protector and put it in a rubber case after a month.

I think i might go for one of the videos myself. Looking at the 80gb one, white. Is it a good price for 139 A grade and 129 B grade? Which one would you go for?

£19.99 for a 1gb...........fab

My naked 2g has two tiny dings on the top edge after it fell out my bag hit against against a metal locker and onto floor tiles, other than that, it's perfect, and the screen is immaculate. The alu models are nothing like the chrome and acrylic models, toughest mp3 player I've had. I put it in a muff if I'm throwing it in a bag with other metal objects but other than that I don't protect it with anything other than common sense - no coins or keys in the pocket.

A grade will likely be as good as an Apple refurb, which is like new, B grade less so.

Anyone know where I can get a cheap dock for one of these?

Got a 2gb

What is the expected delivery date with the postal strike going on?

You copied me :P

it seems to be the best deal

£30 for a 2GB 2G Nano is dirt, dirt cheap, providing it's in decent cosmetic condition.

can anyone tell me which one of these would be suitable for an 11 year old as am not too techie when it comes to things like that.

get the 2 or 4 nano they have colour screen

Gets a hot vote from me. Ordered a 4GB Grade B Nano. Always thought ipods were the best mp3 player but really couldn't justify the price of one for the limited use I'll give it - but at this price who cares!!!!:-D

Cheers OP. Have some Rep:thumbsup:

The 2gb is very tempting, whats the difference between A and B grade?

Yep just order 2gb at £30, can't go wrong really at this price

There will be small marks on the Grade B. Unless its a gift or you're a perfectionist, then the Grade B will do just fine.

Grade A will be like new.

Anyone know of any codes for free postage?

Just ordered the 2gb, hope the order goes through.
Postage is free btw so no codes are needed.

at checkout it is stating Standard Delivery £4.95 but says £3.95 on the item page! :?

Any idea why it's suddenly showing as £3.95 standard delivery? Wasn't a minute ago!

Was free delivery a minute ago.. :?

Yep mine was free delivery five mins or so ago - hope it goes through now !!!

go to checkout and it is now £4.95..
so don't think i will bother now.

Lucky I got free delivery. It's still worth the trouble if they do charge you for it though
