Ahh ok. Their outlet is confusing as heck. I just need it to clean the patio. No idea what to get
Can you buy a bottle of detergent for the K4 ?
Oh man... So tempting! I was set on waiting for Friday to see what deals there were on these... Do I pull the trigger now on the basis that they won't get any cheaper, or wait til friday to see if there's a sitewide ebay discount but risk these selling out... Gah!

I am tempted, but as with Karcher Outlet you pay for any returns and re-shipping costs if the product develops a fault during the Warranty period.

Against consumer contacts regulations, the retailler has to pay return costs if the item is faulty.

=======================================================================
Returning faulty goods
If you receive faulty goods and wish to return them, the Regulations are in addition to your other legal rights.

So, if your goods are faulty and don’t do what they're supposed to, or don’t match the description given, you have the same consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act (which replaces the Sale of Goods Act from 1 October 2015) as you have when buying in store.

Any terms and conditions that say you must cover the cost of returning an item wouldn’t apply where the goods being returned are faulty.

Agreed, it would probably look like a Trunkie if it had wheels!

I'm now tempted to opt for the Bosch unit over the Karcher having read reviews.

I was all set on buying the one on the karcher site, but the so many different versions are as confusing as heck. Whats the difference between the K4 refurb on the karcher site and this one on ebay?! Does the one on ebay come with additional tools?
My brother has this machine it’s okay but I do highly recommend upgrading to 140 bar or higher machine I have a nilfisk e140 which is 140 bar and the pressure is perfect very good balance of power , I find I have to go over the same spot twice with the 130 bar k4 but only once with 140 nilfisk also my snowfoam is slightly thicker and will only get better if I go higher in bar pressure
Purchased this same model from the same retailer last time it was on offer (paid around £110 IIRC) and after around 3 months the gun started getting funny about taking attachments so i now have to send the whole pressure washer back for them to try repair the gun. Wouldnt buy a refurb again but i suppose its the risk to take!

How much are you willing to spend? Because this for £90 is very good for 130 bar usually 140 bar pressure washer are between £160-£300

I got my nilfisk e140 on sale for £190 on amazon think it was Black Friday a few years back

Nilfisk E140 2-9 S X-Tra Pressure Washer with 2100 W Induction Motor and 9 m Hose Reel amazon.co.uk/dp/B001DZNOHC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_OI.3DbC2E6C52

Sold the crappy snowfoam bottle and mine was bundled with a few other concrete cleaning brush attachment sold them on eBay and machine worked out around £150

Sometimes you can pick up refurb nilfisk machines but currently out of stock

I think max £200 . I bought the Aldi petrol one earlier this year, but it turned out to be rubbish, because the spark plugs were faulty. It was a right pain returning that. Aldi one is great value for the money (£199) IF it works!!!. For the size of my paved area / garden, a petrol one (obv no wires) suits better, but I realise a good one might cost closer to £400, so Im happy to get a decent karcher K4 or above, but MAX £200 budget.

To be honest I don’t know much about petrol pressure washer other than they seem to be much better on power , I think the kranzle do a petrol one and is suppose to be the Ferrari of all machines but can be very dangerous using in car paint and could strip the laquer.

What I’m thinking of getting is a refurb Karcher k7 (160 bar pressure) or the new model k7 (180 bar pressure )

or refurb nilfisk e160 (160 bar pressure) £199

nilfiskoutlet.co.uk/products/product.asp?id=5503

eBay Karcher has refurb ones for £250 but if you can wait eBay sometimes 10-25% off voucher which you could use

K7 refurb 160 bar £250

rover.ebay.com/rov…970

K7 refurb 180 bar £299

rover.ebay.com/rov…557

Or get this Karcher k4 for £90 until you find a good deal on a petrol one or the k7’s above then sell this k4 for similar price

Not trying to be funny.

No pressure washer will strip cars paint unless it's a pencil nozzle being used or a standard jet being used improperly(used within an inch).

The jet wash psi or bar doesn't mean the jet wash will necessarily be more powerful. The flow rate of water output is just as important.

A jet wash with a water output of 10l per minute at 120 bar will seem more powerful than a 140 bar with 7l per minute.

The LPM is the flow rate of water in litres per minute that your pressure washer produces. The Bar is the energy with which the water will hit the surface you are cleaning.

A high water flow LPM will wash away dirt etc much quicker.

Also, the best pressure washers commercial wise IMO are Nilfisk and karcher HD.

I own several Nilfisk Poseidons as well as karcher HD models that have always outlasted kranzles. I find that kranzles are good for people that will only use for 1 or 2 hours per day. After 3-4 years will usually start having problems(nothing a service cant fix).

On the other hand Karcher hd models are designed to be used several hours per day. The 6 that I own have now lasted 6 years with out ever letting me down and also being used between 5-6 hours a day, 6 times per week.
Karcher is garbage bought k1 a year ago died within 6 month plastic crap
