Reconditioned simba mattress all sizes HALF price

Be looking for a new mattress for a while now and stumbled across these reconditioned Simba mattresses.
With simba's 100 night trail or money back scheme I'm sure they get plenty sent back. Instead of tossing them they fix any problems, replace and damaged parts and put brand new covers on..
Although you do not get the 10yr guarantee as with the new mattress you do get a 14 day satisfaction or money back guarantee.
I got my king for £350 with delivery. These sell new for £699.99.
Thats half the price of a new mattress (:

errr refurb mattress, no thx
I wonder if these are the ones that people have slept on for 100 days then sent back under their guarantee.

My 1st thoughts are the same as yours. I then realised we stay in hotels a couple of times a year. We're not needing one, but after consideration, I think I might go for it. What's the difference between staying at a hotel, and sleeping on their bedding, or buying one like this? Added heat.🙄

My 1st thought was uurrgghh but this is a great point.
£699 for a new one with 100 days to try it out and a 10 year guarantee or £350 for a refurb with 14 days guarantee.hmmm how is this a deal I know it’s half the price but if they have enough stock to have to refurb them would you really want to buy one with out the guarantee.

Fairly sure these are the same as the eve ones. The repackage the 100 say trial ones because can't sell as new. We had different one for a week before sending back. Be madness if they simply binned them
My guess is if you buy a new one and after 90 days or so phone them up to return it the will give you a big discount just to keep it. Then you will have a new mattres and 10 years warranty and if not they will collect it and you have not lost anything except that you will know if it is comfortable for you or not.

Nope that doesn’t happen. They just take it back.
Surely these must be returns from the 100 night free trial...?
Don't forget 5% cashback with topcashback
There must be loads of people that just get the mattress with no intention of buying or some it just doesn’t suit.

This would be an ideal purchase for a spare room. That’s the deal when you use someone’s spare bed, it’s been slept in before and not by you.

If they put on a new cover I don’t see the problem even for a main bed too.

Credit where it’s due as you have a valid point, suppose never looked at it like this but still I wouldn’t buy it.
Tempted, but does it come from a non smoking pet free home.

I think they donate those to charity. Or so it says on their website. So not sure what a refurb would be.

These are sold as new.. I assume they are the ones they get back that have had no or very little use.
I spoke to the simba team as I was dubious and was told the top latex layer and covers were replaced.
The seller had great feedback so in my eyes I've saved £350 on £700 quality new mattress.
As for guarantee then if you know anything about mattress then claiming off a guarantee is very difficult so it's pretty much worthless unless it's a major manufacturering defect.
Extra 15% if you order more than 1, shame there’s no singles as I would of ordered
Why don't You buy some secondhand shoes to go with it.

How on earth is somebody allowed to post a deal from an ebay seller with 28 feedback?
3 months of someone else's sweat! Mmmm Nice

Where's the sweat? The covers have been replaced by new.
Buy a new one, and then send the ebay one back as the new one on the 100 day warenty.

Technically fraud, but so's the RRP.

Are the covers completely waterproof?

Good point.... But a few nights/weeks sleeping in a hotel is OK (as long as it's clean). But personally there's certain things that I prefer from new like a mattress. Each to their own I guess

How can you compare the two? I have occasionally had to take a dump in a motorway service station but I would never consider buying the cubicle as an alternative to getting a new bathroom suite.

I think it is you who is not comparing like with like. A service station cubicle is clearly not the same as a new bathroom suite - aesthetically or functionally.

A better comparison would be buying a bathroom suite which has been installed, maybe used for a short time, removed and put up for sale. If' people are saving 50% on the new price of the suite for a suite sold like new but slightly used I think there would be plenty of takers. Obviously you are not one but there is a market. In fact I would imagine a bigger percentage than that of a matress,

You don't seem to understand how revolting this concept is. They are talking about buying a second hand mattress.

It's not even £699 for a new one, there is a 20% off coupon kicking around, makes it £560
If they change the covers and top latex layer then there is almost no way there will be any residue at all. Is everyone here such sweaters then you soak your mattresses? Stop being so prissy.

This is a cracking deal.
Oh if any of my hotel stay mattresses could talk, you'd never stay in one again lol. Seriously though money does afford luxury but please remember not everyone is in a fortunate position. When I got my 1st place everything we had was used/pre loved/and possibly made love on. Needs must. I guess if you've never had to need things you can be picky and look down on those that can't afford to, Me personally I find it being shrewd.

They are selling a reconditioned mattress and selling them as new on the listing.
I'm assuming it's only the A1 returns they are bothering to recondition and as it states only after a thorough check over. On top of that the top part of the mattress and cover have been replaced so the part that could have possibly been in contact with anybody else has been replaced anyway so is new!
If it was a second hand mattress I certainly wouldn't want one let alone spend £350.00 on it.
BTW I would never use a service station toilet, they are revolting!! If I'm desperate enough I'll hold out for a maccy D's at the very least.
