OP, you need to add the fact that it's a refurbished into into the title.
These are OK. I used to have 1 and used I for emulation which worked well. It can also play some older games in low quality natively. The controller supplied isn't very comfortable, I kept it in the box and used my ps4 control via Bluetooth.
I've got one for Xbox and Steam streaming at home and have to say I really like it. The controller takes a bit of getting used to, but it works really well.
excellent!! cheers!!
I owned one of these. The best I got out of it was . Emulators. Snes worked okish some input lag. 64 bit emulators don't work so that put dolphin out . Tried a couple pc games. Jet set radio barely worked due to controller not being supported. Dark souls ran at about 10 fps on lowest setting with mods to lower screen res further. Works well as Xbox one and steam stream device on a solid router
I have one of these.

As I'm part of the Windows 10 insider program I've put a few builds on this and the tablet really updated well. If you update the WiFi drivers and SD Card drivers, it works very well.

A great streaming device for Steam and Xbox One. The PS4 streaming app doesn't work for me but I suspect that's more down to software than hardware.

I believe their is a PS4 app that runs and allows you to use the built in controllers natively. I seem to remember reading about it on their forums, which are surprisingly active.

Also, I just remembered, if anyone has problems streaming from Xbox One with one, their is a controller firmware update on their forums which you might need as it suddenly stopped working out of the blue, but the update fixed it.

Replied to your pm.
Can any of you tell me how stable this is using steam? Since it is streaming does it have fps cap, if so what is it? Finally do you recommend this for streaming Xbox One and steam games? Cheers 🏻
I use it for both Steam and Xbox. It'll easily do 60fps as the screen is only 1280x800, but it does depend on your wireless router and I'd also recommend both the PC and Xbox being wired into it.

Is the quality poor on the screen for gaming then? The Switch is around 720p and actually looks decent, because of the low cost is the screen on this decent or poor?

Thinking about getting one for streaming, low cost. Just a little wary that the reconditioned model might not be the best tho... has anyone got a reconditioned unit?
Mine is reconditioned as well and haven't had any problems with it. The only time the picture looks bad is when you have wifi interference, normally it looks exactly the same as it is on Xbox or Steam.

Should arrive today, fingers crossed it's like yours then 🏻😃
I bought one of these refurbished. other than the box being a little tatty it was fine, can confirm from personal testing, Skyrim and HL2 can be played without any issue Locally on steam HL2 runs at 60 frames Skyrim Over 30, can vary. (On low Settings of course).

So can also be good for traveling etc as can run some decent games. Whilst it is not ideal and for some games on steam you must use steam big pictures controller binds to set up correctly with the controller, for the price they are great.

Bioshock also is reported to run fine locally and many others of around that time.

I have also used this with my XBOX One and provided it is in a decent range of a 5ghz Connection this will stream great it could be used as an additional controller if needed to its that responsive.

I was pleasantly surprised what ran on this device but then you realise how far tech has come in the last few years.

Heat Added Well worth the price, Remember this is also full windows 10 so has the marketplace and can also install exe's.

Son got his yesterday, he is happy with it. Have hit a few niggles but these have been resolved by the updates (which take hours!)

I'd be eternally grateful if you could also PM me the detail for the SD drivers, having an absolute nightmare with SD card. Many thanks
Trying to update the Xbox app so can stream. When I log in the app tells me to update as it's an old version, click it. Store page opens then shuts itself down completely, cannot seem to update the app so I can stream... any suggestions?

Losing my patience, Steam was easy to setup and stream it's the Xbox app that's being a pain in the butt

Check for windows system and store updates and do a few restarts. Seemed to do the trick for my lad.

I tried kept shutting down when the store opened after clicking update, now I am completely resetting the tablet to see if the problem will persist. If I can't update the app it means the old app won't let me stream Xbox One games. Don't get why it's so much hassle to update an app, simple process really.

Steam was much easier to set up and this is a windows tablet, makes you wonder! If this doesn't work I will likely call Argos tomorrow and say to them the app won't update keep getting a bug and I cannot stream Xbox One games. I got this to stream all my devices if any don't work it's going back!

Hello, right here: linxtablet.co.uk/vie…766
It weont let me pm you.
I got it all working, took quite a few updates and restarts to get everything up to date! Delighted with it, for under 70 quid it's great for streaming Xbox One, Steam PC and PS4 it's also great for Indie titles, emulators and older games running natively as well. Bargain! Thanks for sharing OP 🏻

What emulator are you using?

What emulator are you using?

Watched a video on youtube of emulators running on it, need to download some. Just got the Xbox, Steam and PS4 streaming set up.
To anyone that got this or the £59.99 B grade...

What does the sticker say on the back of the linx outer box as the A grade I ordered says 'Refurbished B'

Now I am unsure if paying for A resulted in getting B, cheers ;o)
