Thanks for that

This should technically say "...up to £229.99" but if CPW are trying to hide their price rise, I guess you can too

It will want a fast charger, not sure which one, I guess looking for a USB 3.0 one should do. That's going to put the actual price of this "bargain" up a bit...

I hadn't noticed it was you - sorry! On the eye for a phone for someone at the moment, so monitoring them closely. I'll be off your back soon
If you can find me a really decent price on the XA2, I'll be on my way even quicker

Mrswitch, the mobile phone deal posting machine

Anyone know when the Moto X became the mid-range option? It used to be the X was top but I guess the Z has taken over. SD630 is ok but I really would only take an SD835 at this point due to the way Android just slows over time (I like my iPhone but I like how flexible Android is).

My Pixel 2 from same company arrived today, am off to pick it up now.

Like you, I seem to follow the good phone deals around. I like good quality hardware as I carry two phones (work and personal) so I don’t mind paying a bit more for the best hardware.

I’m trying to work out what to do with my iPhone X at the moment, I literally hate it, touchscreen accuracy has gone out the window and it’s a buggy mess - I suspect I’ll go back to a 7 or 8 Plus. I don’t like this whole bezel-less thing, sure it looks great but in practice it’s a hassle which is why I’ve had things like Sony or the Pixel 2 (got a grade C from Appliances Direct, it’s nearly mint). Extra height just seems to be wasted with blank space in apps...

Well I've never owned an iPhone, so can't comment, I'm it adverse to the idea, but my whole life is currently on Android, so will stick with that for now.

I tried to use Android for my main phone but I just wasn’t as quick typing on any phone and I had a real bad spat with my S7 Edge which failed from new after 2 months. I like being able to download music, run VLC or use BitTorrent directly on the phone with Android which Apple don’t let me - the reason iPhones run well is because Apple decides what you can and can’t do and what can run when the phone is in standby - upside is good battery and responsiveness, downside is zero customisation and restrictions, plus cartel on overpriced hardware. Only option is two phones in my opinion.

I’m waiting for the case for my Sony XZ1 Compact then I’ll probably use that. I have the Pixel 2 but forgot they took the headphone jack away, I literally hate how manufacturers copy the dumbest things Apple does - eg courageous removal of headphone jack, notched display and 18:9 displays (I know Samsung started this).
This is G5+ pricing lol
