Lovely. Got the "KDL43W809CBU.A" at £269. Seems like the highest spec one of the three near that price. It's a slightly different colour than the one linked I think. But it's got 200 more Hz in processing rate, so get that one if in stock.

Essentially, this one is slightly better than the one linked I believe.

Hi. Was this this morning? I only ask because I put in an order for that precise model last week when this came up and they didn't honour it because they ran out of stock. I've left my order live on the chance they'll get stock in, so it'd be useful to know if you managed to buy one this morning in case they haven't put my name on one and feign ignorance.

According to the store I spoke to, "practically brand new".

Ah, that's a shame, sorry to hear that. As you say, I guess it's pot luck with refurb deals. Out of interest, are you having any issues returning yours or are they happy to take it back?

Returns process is slow/non existent.
Apparently my original order is being honoured, so they did allocate one to me. Fingers crossed!

missed the deal on 43" but good find. well done. Heat
I managed to bag myself one of the 50" 3D ones last Friday when they appeared in stock briefly.
TV turned up on Saturday morning and I have been absolutely delighted with it so far.

Keep checking the site as they seem to keep coming back into stock every now and then.
I ordered a 50 two weeks ago. It had a dead pixel but that's about it, like new Great tv. 3d is fantastic too!
Got the 55 inch non 4k and I'm really pleased with it. Note these don't come with 3d glasses or the magic remote.

There are new ones avalaible! Just ordered a KD43X8309CBU for 349£! So happy!
I grabbed a 43" 4K in black when they reloaded. Nearly went for the 49" silver earlier as there were no black 43" showing.
Cheers OP
I've just grabbed the 55XD8509CBU.A for £599. can anyone please throw some light on what does with dark c stand for in the description. thanks OP!
Heat added, great find. Must... not....buy... another... TV !

The one I bought has a slightly different code depending on the colour; there are two black models and one silver one. On the two black models, the stand (i.e. the bit that holds the telly up) is silver chrome on one, and a darker chrome on the other, so I guess 'dark c stand' means a dark chrome one?

I use PIA and have sideloaded their Android app onto my TV. It works okay, except being tipped over sideways from portrait mode and no option to choose which servers to connect to. The inability to chose server is going to be a pain when F1 starts and I need to track down local live feeds eg Australia for channel 10 to watch race 1 next weekend.
thanks BBB for your reply. the 8509 not only has a dark chrome stand but also has 1000hertz in comparison the the 8505 models 800htz model. hope the TV turns out well. it is no doubt a better competitor in Sony range with other brands. cheers!
Got mine today. 55x8509c. Original box, packaged as if new, literally not a mark on it. Set up, updated and watching a film on Sky hd within the hour. Picture is fantastic compared to my 7 year old Panny plasma. No one will know it's a refurb, delighted for £599. Can't wait to find some 4K material, hot from me!
I would buy too if would be possible pay:)) My bank doesn't let pay them:)) I used debit and credit card, no luck:))
