£25 cheaper than the last time they were posted and £75 cheaper than the cheapest new price.

I took a chance despite the technical issues and am glad I did. Really great sound and no problems with right audio drop out since upgrading to the latest firmware.

As for being refurbished, they were in as new condition, just missing the outer sleeve of the box. All the earbuds were sealed in original packaging and o very much doubt they'd be allowed to sell them any other way.

Gotta be worth a go for anyone looking for true wireless earbuds as they're widely regarded as the best sounding pair available. The new version due out in June seem to have exactly the same specs, just a new design that adds waterproofing.

Thanks to the poster of the original deal as I've been keeping an eye on them since then, glad I waited!

Really like mine. Great for the tube as the noise cancelling is just about right! 3 hour battery life is about right. They charge in the case too. Paid a little bit more for them and still happy with them.

I had a few audio glitches to begin with but they seem much better after the last update.
    what was the technical issues?
They look like earphones to me.
Bought these on release and wear them daily. Great wireless earbuds and noise cancelling is good enough. Would replace tomorrow if lost today so this price is good.

Sound is superior to Apple earpods and airpods and you can change the tips to fit. These do leak a little though (as I've been told by co-workers), but not as badly as over ear Sony & Bose headphones.

FYI New model out soon with more bass and water resistance..

I looked into these earbuds and seems they would suffer drop outs in connection from the main ear to the other meaning you lose sound (I think) . I'm not sure wether this has been fixed although a post above suggests it has.
Have been curious about these so went for them. Anyone know what Sony Centre are like for returns?
I think returns within 28 days if there is an issue and 1 year repair warranty.
Just sent mine back to Amazon, only had them a day too. They worked well for ten minutes then no sound out of the right ear bud (latest firmware as well) there are numerous comments on Sony site about right ear bud dropouts, pity I didn’t read these comments before ordering....When they did work I didn’t think they went loud enough.....
A word of caution - these are only suitable for audio because there is a lag of around 1-2 seconds (which will affect lipsync with video). This is not a limitation of the bluetooth connection to the transmitting device but rather a limitation of the wireless connection between the two earpieces. It's a nice idea and when it works it is good for audio but I think there are too many limitations in the current generation product for day to day use. Hopefully this will improve in subsequent versions.

Bluetooth 5.0 sorts tha issue as. The issue is that only one device is connected to the audio device using bluetooth 4 or lower and the pairing ear piece connects to the master ear piece connected to the device. This is a limitation of bluetooth I think. Bluetooth 5 solves thay. Can connect to multiple devices at the same time.

Does Bluetooth 5.0 have AptX as standard?

Yep and July is correct. Still valid to share info as I'm not trying to take away anything from this offer.

I think it has AptX HD. And you can connect multiple devices to same connection. My LG V30 has bluetooth 5 and aptx hd.

Got mine from this deal today. Same issues. Not only that, but if i paused a podcast for about 5 minutes then played it again, the noise cancelling would still be active but no sound playing.

Might have been unlucky with these refurbished units, but not sure the tech is fully here just yet.

Trying to decide on an alternative now, might go non truly wireless.
