Lol I find it funny that we both make baseless assumptions and it turns out I'm the only one who's actually right.

OK boomer, enjoy your life of luxury, thanks for the damage you left

Lol OK boomer.

FYI I didn't buy it, I wasn't commenting on the deal I was commenting on your ignorance.

Here's a another stereotype for you, you claim people who spend £200 on headphones are unwashed, wouldn't you say that's what people assume for middle aged men who refer to themselves as "hackers".. I mean I'm not saying you are but you're making a lot of COMPLETELY off the mark assumptions.

Keep on booming boomer.

Don't worry I'll block you now, get the impression it'll make your head boom not been able to get the booming last boom.. Sorry I mean word.

Bye boomer

On the one hand I'd like these headphones. But on the other hand I'd like to save and retire at 40 and be blissfully happy like omendata clearly is.

I am afraid it is you who comes across as ignorant You are the one calling people names.
So boomer is a word young ill educated folks use for anyone over 40? Sad, in my day we had respect for our elders and betters
As for the deal why nt tell us why these are worth £200 instead of trolling?
Edited by: "Hugh-Jarse" 5th Dec 2019
Do you remember the 80s Hugh? Electronic goods were actually much more expensive in real terms. And they weren't as good. I don't have a pair myself, but I have heard noise cancelling tech is very good.

Well i have three homes, no debt, no mortgages, no brown letters coming through the door zero stress and 5 holidays a year!
Jealous much!
Its called saving and being canny and planning for the future!
You enjoy your 9-5 slogging away in a job you hate commuting 3+ hours a day on overcrowded public transport and dying of stress before you hit the magic 65 by which time you will be too auld and bvggered to do anything worthwhile anyway !

m calling people names? He said boomer was a compliment. He called me unwashed and implied that I am poor, unemployed neither of which are true.

He also started talking about my masterbatory habits, and he's 70! It's that kind of talk that belongs in the school playground.

As for whether these headphones are worth £200. I don't know that they are, all I know is they are the only headphones in their class that do what they do. They are widely considered to be the best money can buy. I wouldn't presume to walk into something I didn't know about and try to insult ("unwashed") people for paying so much

Yeah i do but technology advances doesn it of course it aint gonna be as good we didnt have microchips and ttl logic until Texas insturments invented them so we are arguing pots and pans here
the thing is why are these worth £200? I just cannot get my head around why any "young" person spends that kind of money on headphones, trainers etc when they cost about a tenner to make?
To me i is all style over content really - my kids know the value of money and they dont ask me for this stuff they are quite happy with cheap and cheerful as long as iot works
AND IF YOU WATCHED THE GADGET SHOW LAST WEEK YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN A Magic pair of headphones for £60 that will beat these hands down!

I think you will find the term unwashed is and old phrase coined by a victorian novelist in the 1800's that us old folks used to use to describe the general public Omen has been on here a long time and he knows his stuff he is well respected in the electronics side of things and he is not 70 - is that what he told you lol typical hacker! More fool you for believing him he has really worked you up but he does that a lot he is a bit of a windup merchant and has no filter or political correctness which may be extremely rude at times but is actually quite refreshing considering all the pol, itical correctness on here and the interrnet in genreal

Riiiiight.

Who's worked up? I still think it's hillarious I was completely on the money with my boomer comment.
I find it odd that he's respected for his technical expertise when he made such an unfounded statement about a pair of headphones he knows nothing about? I think his expertise might be a little out of date..

Honest suggestionn; maybe you should look to new "experts".
That's not to say that's me! Because it definitely isn't, I only know about these headphones because Ive done my research over the last year or so.
I definitely wouldn't walk into a thread on washing machines and question why anyone would pay £1000 on a washing machine when you can get a Beko for £150*.. That would be ignorant.

*I'm pulling numbers out of thin air to make a point... These aren't real quotes... Hell Beko's might even be cheaper than that
lol, look at these 2 noggins
