Do you have to be a BT customer to get those prices as I only see £159.98?

Yep. You may still be able to checkout using the link I posted though.

I've shared the link with friends and family who are looking for these, they are BT customers so hopefully it will work for them.

I don't need them as I've got Netgear Orbis.

Thanks for posting the deal OP and for your assistance @Biddy2

No worries. Blame me watching this film the other night for the new pic Clicky . It may destroy some of your childhood though (if you’re old enough to remember it of course. )

This link works for me. Have to scroll down screen to "Bundle Deals" to find the deal. It did add postage of about £3.45 when I added it to basket.

Well that isn't disturbing
Anybody else having trouble buying this?
Think it could be done...
Doesn’t work for me either, shame as I would have bought some, not even bothered about the google home thingy
Worked for me when choosing The Alexa Dot

Cheers for the link dude. Came up as 79.99 and then in the bundles went to 89.99 to include the Google mini.

Not an absolute must need for me right now sadly. Even though this deal is amazing and for me deserves more heat.
Do you have to be a BT customer to use these? i.e. does BT have to be your ISP?

If so, can anyone recommend any decent 3rd party repeaters like these? I recently saw something about a repeater system which doubled up as speakers?
Nope don’t need to be Bt customer and this is a mesh system so better than your average repeater
For people who claims the offer works, have you actually checkout and bought it?

I did and got the special price but then got "Error processing request" when placing the order. Has anyone actually bought one who isn't a BT customer?

I've got the "notification of order" email..
This time my order was successfully placed. Only difference is I did it without going through TCB nor opting for the Echo bundle.

I guess I was too greedy
Worked for me using the Clicky link above, thanks! (Quidco too)

Most BT customers aren't BT Plus ones as it costs more.

yep by £5 a month, 18 months x £5 = £90 and you can get up to three discs if you dont get good coverage.

Not necessarily. I wanted BT Plus but getting a good retentions deal with that included was incredibly difficult. Cost at least £10 extra but I think it was even more than that.
mmm strange i was offerd it for £5 extra a month for the hub only which i turned down as i was told when my deal is ending which is next month I prob could get it for the same extra £5 price but get the hub and the discs. so i will see what happens next month when my contract ends.

but its just to let people know that such deals can be had.

BT offered to keep me on same deal as when I was a new customer after haggling but they were not giving any good BT Plus deals. Switched to Virgin instead. I got some BT discs already, they are very good and improve the WiFi signal so much!
thats what i am after better range i have alot of wifi devices for smart home and some of them are playing up somtimes and i think its becasue its at the back of the house where the signal is bad. If i dont get a good deal from BT i might look inot a deal like this in the future.

I just thought i would post as somtimes you can get a good deal from them.

another thing is i herd that the USB port on these dont work for external hard drives and bt have disabled it ? not to sure on the white versions but have herd this on the black versions

Before the discs I didn't realise how much I needed them. Now I have them, WiFi speeds are so much more consistent which is fantastic! I have 3 white discs, they are especially useful as I can connect PS4 via ethernet - before I used to have lots of lag but now everything runs perfectly, I used to use a booster but mesh WiFi is better than an extender for sure.

Do you have to return the discs if you leave BT?

My mesh WiFi discs don't have an USB port on them, only ethernet.
mm I thought they had a USB unless its just the black versions. I think you can keep the discs after your contract is up but not to sure as i think no one would now just yet as i think the free disc offer just started about 12 months ago i think.

can you use the ethernet port on the discs and plug them into a switcher ? as i have a network cable all the way round the house and have switchers on them. It would be better as then you dont have to use wifi to wifi to extend your range instead using your wired network back to the router would be better.
How are these white ones different to the newer black ones?
I have the white ones, just had a look at the back and there's only one single ethernet port on each one, no USB port I'm afraid.
