Ultimate performance

They say life is full of compromises. They say you can’t have high performance on the same notebook. They say that a high-performance gaming laptop has to be big, bulky, and heavy. They’re wrong. Now you can enjoy elite gaming performance on a thin and light notebook, thanks to the new AMD Ryzen 5000 H-Series Mobile Processors. Never compromise on your gaming laptop again.

Ultimate performance for gamers and creators

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Laptop GPUs deliver the ultimate performance for gamers and creators. They’re powered by Ampere—NVIDIA’s 2nd Gen RTX architecture—with new Ray Tracing Cores, Tensor Cores, and streaming multiprocessors for a huge leap in performance. Experience the most realistic ray-traced graphics, cutting-edge new features, and the power of AI in thin and light designs.

Next-level thermal control

The Legion 5 (15" AMD) is cool and quiet thanks to Legion Coldfront 3.0. Extending its legacy of max clock speeds with zero throttling over long sessions, the latest version ups the stakes even further with an intelligent intake system, a dual fan design with quad-channel exhaust systems and improved thermal fins, and intake vents underneath each keyboard switch and heat sinks.

Behold the Legion AI Engine

The Legion AI Engine is our most groundbreaking gaming solution yet. Included in the Legion 5 (15" AMD), its Auto-Optimization mode intelligently identifies your game launches and optimizes system performances with dynamic CPU/GPU power distribution. The result is the highest possible FPS whether your game is CPU or GPU intensive. In Auto-Detect mode, you’ll enjoy maximum frame rates on 16 of the most popular AAA titles, exclusive to Legion devices.

Fast refresh for fast reflexes

Whether you like blindingly fast refresh rates and response times on your gaming screen or hyper-realistic visuals, the Legion 5 (15" AMD) has you covered. Deepen your immersion with a 15" FHD widescreen display.

Pinpoint decision

Tactile. Responsive. Accurate. The Legion 5 (15" AMD) features the Legion TrueStrike keyboard. TrueStrike delivers a superior layout with dedicated media keys, number pad, larger arrow keys and one-piece trackpad illuminated with a crisp white or optional RGB backlight. Forged from years of gaming experience, these Legion-exclusive keyboards feature soft-landing switches with 1.5mm key travel that leverage a second transition design, meaning you get deeper strokes with equal force on every strike for an improved input experience, offline or on.

Is this not a good price even with the 30 pound for 12 months warrenty? Seems fine to me. Other than the 8gb ram that can be upgraded.

I don’t think so and OP posted a better deal recently. Laptops Direct customer service is poor so I would want to add a warranty with them. And that’s £785 for a refurbished laptop on what’s about to be last Gen graphics and older CPU too.
