Be careful, according to reviews on Argos, the shoulder straps can rip easily...

I have the same problem.

Thanks. Just bought. Straps do look dodgy but that's what the receipt is for:-)

Thanks, just ordered one to collect in store (Not paying nearly £4 delivery..nearly as much as the item!)

Yes got last 1 but took back when strap went.
Staff say never happened before

I bought one of these thanks to this site. looks fine for £6.

Reviews make it sound like the Poundworld rucksacks. Those are light and compact, but only good for light loads. Usually keep one or two in the car just in case.

Any good for hand luggage?

So it fits hand luggage allowance and according to Argos only ways 0.1kg.

But would someone who has it use it for hand luggage or is the quality really not good enough?

hmmmmm....I'm a bit dubious of this now. I was disappointed that I missed out last time around, but the negative reviews are putting me off. A few years back I bought a 'Ritter' soft case for my acoustic guitar. Reviews were positive, but without any heavy use the nylon strap started to wear away, and the edges of the outer case also frayed, exposing the plastic tube-like support. Bad purchase.

I'm doubtful this will hold up to beer cans on a bike ride.......hmmmmmm

Just picked one up and love it already! Can't wait to take it to the States with me next week - Planning to use it as hand luggage so should be just fine. PERFECT!

If you can convince them you've not broken it.

Why not buy one, and test it out a few times first? Then if it splits or anything you can take it back and get a refund, no harm done.

Bought it, took it home, took it back! Crap not worth £5.99

Says in stock but won't let me reserve in any stores. Strange

good offer

I can never get this offer keep missing out on this

Care to elaborate? Or just talking out your a***?

op you owe me an hour and a half, she said need to pop into Argos to get the kid a bag , she slipped out of side door and then went shoppin, I was left stuck in car........oO

Just picked one up. It's OK for 6quid, but I wouldn't pay any more than that.
This is light weight and 100% polyester (not to be confused with canvas-like usual rucksack material). The straps are basically thin, see-thru mesh with slighty thicker reinforced edges.

Compact and light - good for emergency or to carry towel/sun lotion/paperback to the beach, but not for anything that has any weight (I don't think there's anything misleading you to think otherwise)

Don't beat yourself up if you're unable to get one

The Pic is different to the one on the Argos site?!?

No stock anywhere near me, Gloucester area.

Bought one to use whilst on holiday. Had to pull it out the suitcase and use it at the check in desk because of only 15kg allowance with a certain budget airline, I stupidly assumed it was 20kg. Supported the excess 5kg no problems and was a lifesaver on the way back too!!! Came in handy and saved us paying for the excessive baggage charges! Lady at the desk couldn't argue!

Got one last time hot though
