Well, well, well, forget all your other beers in UK Supermarkets, this stuff is the real deal, proper imported stuff from France and the full 5.5% ABV, I posted the can version of these a while back as I have been buying them a while.
This is the first time I've seen these reduced and at £1.76 a litre they are well worth buying, nice tasting beer that doesn't taste like any of the watered down rubbish that you see lately (apart from imported San Miguel if you can find them), they certainly have a kick I can tell you, malty but not overdone.
Best get in before they get took over by the UK brewers and get brewed under license and watered down to 4.5% (someone say Stella??) to avoid tax, shame you can only order 10 at a time.
Check the reviews, pretty good and I can vouch for them.
You can get delivery slots for a quid on a £40 spend so add 10 of these for 35 quid and a bottle of wine for the other half, only fair really!
Enjoy....don't overdo them though, I accept no responsibility for carpet cleaning from excess consumption!! ;-)
Oh and suitable for vegetarians ;-)
The Champigneulles continental lager is brewed with the Bellefontaine natural spring water according to an ancient recipe with fine and selected ingredients. It is wheat-coloured, pale and slightly golden. It is crystal clear, with a fine and thin foam and the aromas are well balanced coupled with floral scents. In the palate, the malt aroma is relatively strong, combined with a bouquet of fresh hops.
