RelonChem Lipsore/Coldsore Cream with Aciclovir £0.99 @ Wilkinson

Found 14th Jan 2013
Cold Sore cream with active ingredient Aciclovir.
This contains the same active ingredient as in the market leader's, which is 5 times the cost. No doubt similar can now be found elsewhere but think this is a very good deal if you 'suffer' lots of breakouts. I don't think this is a special but it might be worth stocking up.

Is this a deal? I think so, there are other creams but normally they don't contain Aciclovir which does fight the root cause of the infection. Supermarkets also do their own branded versions but this is the first I've seen at 99p.

Seen in Tooting Wilkinson, assume this is national.
Hope this saves some people a few coins.
Cannot find it in online store.

EDIT - As mentioned similar prices likely elsewhere. Reported below are Poundland/Pound world & Home bargins.

Not that funny really!

For anyone that suffers badly with this filthy disease like I do please invest in the boots Coldsore machine Avert, they are around £35, but worth every penny. It suppresses the outbreak and reduces the frequency of an outbreak. When I get them at all now they are just the ones that last a day or two, rather than a week or two. I have been using this for the past 2 years, I can honestly say I can't remember the last time I had used it! Gave heat for price alone, but effectiveness is hit and miss, I used to think. I used to have really severe out breaks, give it a go!!!

I'm intrested to hear this, mixed review on these, like the cream. Some think it makes theirs worse!
I'm looking out for one of these if they drop to about £25, no creams to buy. Just rechargable batteries. And its ready when you feel the tingle and your out of cream :-)
