The price has dropped to clear stock as Remington have discounted it.

good shaver

I bought one last Xmas and I've got to say I've not really been impressed with it. I switched from an old Philishave, and the Remington seems to require a lot of repeated sweeps over the same area and more pressure to cut close.

In my experience foil shavers don't shave as close as rotary shavers....... but rotary shavers give me shaver burn for that very reason that they shave closer. So for me both types of leccy shavers have their downsides.
Went back to wet shaving with blades.

Funnily enough that's one of the reasons I ditched the Philishave in the end; I was wet shaving more often than using it.

Now I'm wet shaving again, and using this Remington in between as a sort of low stubble option.

I've spent a fortune on loads of different leccy razors searching for one that works for me...... but I find none of them are as good as wet shaving.
For decades there has only been two types of leccy shavers, foil or rotary, they both have their inherent faults and no matter how much they mess about with the design and functions of them, these basic faults remain.
