Anybody have any experience with these? Wondering what you think of them?

My Wife suffers with PCOS which causes more hair than around and under her chin area. She has had professional hair treatment which has helped in the past.

Having bought one of these it is a great help to reduce the hairs. She has also used it around the top on my back area to zap the occasional hair. Using it feels fine and not uncomfortable feeling. The hair is instantly gone with the treatment...it smells like burning hair but that's normal.

Keep an eye out for the replacement bulbs as they are around £16 individually but can be picked up cheaper whilst on offer. I would certainly recommend it.

Ah right ok Thankyou for your views on use with it. The burning hair smell puts me off. I Bought a no no and I only used it twice because it just stinks of burning hair, it makes me feel abit sick. I think it works the same way as this by the sounds of it, just a bigger head (which is much more useful as trying to do legs or arms with a no no just takes forever).
Really pleased your wife has found some welcome relief for her condition do you know has had she found that fewer hairs come back? I noticed it said on the info that after 3 uses(*), 12 months later there's still less growth?im going to have a look at the review somesonr linked below. Thanks again:)
Yes it destroys the root of the hair so any hair that returns is finer and weaker. It certainly works but may need several uses over time to remove hair completely.

I haven't seen the "no no" in person so not sure how the head sizes compare.

If you were thinking for your leg/arm area...one thing you could try it "hard wax". It doesn't use strips to remove and apparently is less painful than traditional wax. It only attaches itself to the hair rather than the hair and skin.
If your going to try a hard wax make sure you choose a really good beautician . They're great, and not as painful as strip waxing but if done wrong can be agonising as they usually treat a larger area than strip wax.
great price but poor reviews on amazon
Can this do back, crack n sack?

Lol...if you like the idea of stubbing a lit cigarette out on that area...I wouldn't recommend it.

If you do feel free to let me know.

Yes its not a bad pain feeling just a little prick style. Do it on. Level 3. I have the lumea one. It's brilliant

"Not suitable for skin tones 5 & 6, because dark skin has a high melanin content"

Bit late but if burning smell a problem try pinching nose or blocking it with tissue.
