It's not a shaver, it's a beard trimmer, perhaps that's where you're going wrong

I have one of these and trim my beard with it once a week. It's better than the Braun one I used before and I only charge the battery once it goes flat which is about every six months.

Bought one last Christmas, works great and keeps a nice even stubble if you want. Battery life lasts a good while, has a nice little pop up side burn trimmer that is about 1.5 inches in width allowing you to neatly trim them. Not sure what thecrater is talking about.

Got one of these, had it a couple of years still going strong.

Recommend.

cant see any info about this voucher??

The best beard trimmer I've ever used. Still going strong after 4 years... highly recommend!

Have to agree, I can't believe you're complaining about the battery - I've had it 2 years and only had to charge it 3 times! Best beard trimmer I've used.

Just a word of warning, people are saying that vouchers are unlikely to be usable if they go into administration so use then quickly.

I've tried quite a few beard trimmers and this is def 1 of the best i've owned Highly recommended

Good price for a good trimmer! Found the battery lasts long and provides an even trim unlike some of the more expensive beard trimmers on the market.

I have one of these and I love it, gives me the perfect shave. It is a trimmer so is not meant for people who want to be "Clean shaven".

Needs to be charged every 2-4 shaves, which is fine as it can be used full power with the plug in, so if it runs out of juice mid shave just plug it in and your fine.

This is Currys not COMET. Comet are the ones in trouble.

How do you get the £10 voucher?

I originally paid more than £20 for this in Tesco about 2 years ago. I still use it to trim my stubble 3 times a week. The battery needs charging about once every month, if not even less. I my opinion it has been great and at this price I might buy another and keep the old one as a spare (as long as I can meet all the conditions for the voucher!). I have owned various clippers and trimmers and this is the best in this price range so far. The cut is good, even with quite flat growing hairs. You use the scroll wheel (like most PC mice have) to select the cut length so no fiddling around with different length attachments either. All-in-all a good buy. Have some heat.

EDIT: No stock locally :-( But some about 30 miles away... probably a bit too far just for this. And free home delivery not available.

Says you have to spend over £30 to get the £10 voucher or am I missing something?

I bought one two years ago. I dropped it, from a low height, within a couple of months and the scroll wheel broke there and then. Still gives a veyr good trim though in my opinion - I just have to 'pinch' the head in order to get it at the right length (oo-er).

Had mine over a year - no problems, great beard trimmer.

Would not recommend this trimmer. Worked great for the first few months, Then suddenly trimmer battery dies straight after a full charge. Only works when plugged in.

Had one of these for a couple of years, been using it every week, superb beard trimmer and unlike some have said it gives a very even trim.

Man this sucks, I bought one on amazon back in january (for £17.99). If only I had waited a few months I coulda got this deal -_-. Only used the flippin thing once aswell.

Yep - I'd agree with that. I got one of these months back for and it's great - used loads of trimmers over the years and the charge in the last for ages, feels sturdy and gives a really decent even trim. Think I only paid about £15 in Tescos but well worth £20.

Yes, not as good as last year when there was no minmum spend when using the voucher + I got one instore with the till receipt plus another emailed to me, so £20 in vouchers for buying a £4.99 whoopee pie maker, now that was a great deal.

terrible product, do not buy...

Ive had a couple over the past few years, this model and its previous incarnation. This is badly made, the hinge on the trimmer broke after a couple of months. Battery is also terrible, after a year the battery lasts about ten minutes after an overnight charge. Time to try something other than a Remmington.
