In stores only

Lidl never had an online shop

Very good set, I have had a set for about a year and they are great. I use them to control lights in the loft extension, also just set them up to control speakers around the house on and off so from anywhere around the house I can control where the music is playing!

Exactly what I needed
HOT HOT HOT!!

yep, music streamed from pc through technika wireless av sender. when i've finished setting it up i'll have 3 sets going, downstairs, upstairs and loft.

Can FULLY recommend this Lidl set (assuming they are as the previous years' ones, which they look/sound identical to, although cheaper than ever). I've two sets, and friends have a further few sets.

The remote has the 12 buttons:
- ON and OFF for each of the 4 sockets
- ALL ON and ALL OFF for all 4 sockets
- UP and DOWN for the dimmer socket

It also has a useful 'different frequency' button so when your neighbour's car remote turns one of your sitting room lights off, you can retune the set to avoid the problem.

Useful too for appliances which don't have an on/off nor ready access to the power - eg a great picture but DREADFUL support Nokia 221T freeview box that gets stalled every so often - the Lidl remote lets us stay in bed and reset it!

The only problem I've ever had is that the DIMMER socket has an internal fuse which can blow if/when the BULB controlled by it blows. The German helpline in response to an email very quickly posted me a replacement fuse though.

At £10 the set, when some stores charge £3 for a 9V PP9 battery that's included, where can you go wrong !?!?

agree with mk-donald's review above, never had the problem with blown fuse or needing to use different frequency.

only one thing, I don't understand the bit about child lock in the op?

Is that the same £1.99 9v battery on todays offer?

"From Monday, 17.9"

I'll have forgotten about it by then

This has only one unit with dimmer - if you want three that have dimmer then QVC do a set for about £15,

*bump*, as this offer is for today

Just found where my Local Lidl is, think I will pop across later, looks a good deal to me.

went to my local (10 miles away), very pleased as bought 2 of these and a few extra bits came to £17.xx looked a receipt after and only charged for one socket set!

They work great and only £5 a set LOL

£16.99 in N Ireland they really hike the price up over here

Got some today and so far I'm well impressed with them. I can now control my tv, dvd player and lights without even having to move from my bed. I've even got it typing this post (not really).

Went to my local store in Leyland Lancashire & they hadn't got any. Does anyone know if there is stock anywhere in the Lancashire area?
