Do I turn my mattress over regularly?
It's a faff, and no-one enjoys it, so you'll be relieved to hear that all our Simba mattresses are non-flip since our unique layering system is designed to offer incredible one-way support. Just turn it once a month for the first 3 months, then every 3-6 months for the rest of its life.

What base should I put my Simba on?
Our mattresses are designed to work on any supportive and dedicated mattress platforms - it’s best on a sprung or rigid slatted bed frame, or a divan/box-spring.

If you choose to use a slatted bed frame, please ensure the slats are no greater than 3 inches apart

Is it memory foam? If so will it remember what the previous owners did on it? 😁
Bought one for £200 delivered off here and I love it only problem if I’m honest is getting out of bed cause it’s sooooooo comfy.

Don’t care if it was previously in a window in Amsterdam this is a deal website and this is a bargain.
Spunky!

Does renewed mean second hand?

Most often used to label those 100-day customer returns so technically yes

"The mattress and its components have been inspected and replaced, the cover has been replaced with a brand new one, and the mattress is in perfect condition (good as new)"
Just to save people the hassle of looking

I'd wait until they have them in Stock and Ebay do one of their Discount Codes, I've bought two of the Kingsize ones for less than £270 each the current price is a bit much. Superb mattresses though and they could have told me that both of mine were brand new and I'd have believed them.

Same here. Very happy with it. Think our King was £280 with a code last year
Second hand mattress. Not sure about a good night's sleep but I've woken up in 1973.
Horrible mattress. We purchased a new one and its one of our biggest mistakes!! It's in our guest room now.

No, but too foamy may be? I felt like I was sinking into the mattress. Gave me backache and I never had that problem with my previous mattress.
our airbnb mattress is lovely! brand new and the mattress cover is washed after every guest...

just saying... not all airbnb’s are equal!

Why didn't you return it under the 100 nights guarantee?

If you purchased it brand new why did you not send it back within the trial 100 day period?

Had mine for nearly 2 years now and love it. Obviously it’s not going to meet everybody’s expectations which is why they offer the no questions asked return period and they collect it for free.

I highly recommend this mattress, it is extremely comfortable, and you don't get hot like you can with some other memory foam mattresses.
If I didn't have one already, I wouldn't hesitate at that price - even renewed.

These refurbs don't have any guarantee at all which would put me off.

I bought a new one direct from Simba and sent it back within the 100 day trial period as it was way too firm for me. Bought an Otty and found that to be not as firm although 2 years in and it has become too firm for me but I still manage with it.
Got the king-size a couple of weeks ago for £196. Very happy so far.
Is this the same as the hybrid mattress?

This isn't good if you normally sleep on posturepedic type beds I'm guessing?

Its a lump of foam. Nothing much to go wrong with them to be honest.

But on a serious note, your statutory rights will still apply, as they do to all purchases

No Idea, sorry!

It's the hybrid mattress (foam and springs, 25cm deep)
I'm afraid I agree with the "Mattress Brigade" - sorry.

I found the following non sensical and funny

They are likely to sag in the middle, and no warranty.

Same here! Although I recall it being £194 :/ I'm probably wrong anyway!

I was looking at this - is there much difference between branded mattresses?

Brill mattress for the price, though, right?! We needed one desperately when that deal was thankfully posted. Our 2yr old puked a merry dance all over out silentnight so we had a week with no mattress at all!

In my experience all mattresses eventually sink in the middle, unless you sleep on the edge.
I brought this last year £240 - 20% ebay voucher= £192. Looked new but was not as comfy as I was hoping. Rang and complained and was sent a replacement (another renewed) within two days. First couple of nights felt great. No more back ache. However, it didnt last. Still getting back ache. Might be great for some, great price, but not for me or my partner. Mattress is too soft.

Try an Eve. They're firmer.

I think mattresses are personal to each individual. What's comfortable to one might not be for others.
Bloody awful these mattresses are. Must be fake reviews online. It would be comfier to sleep in Primark shop doorway than sleep on a simba mattress.
