I am looking for a scale that demeans me every time I get on it e.g Hey Fatso don't break me....who's been eating all the pies?....Why don't you join a gym you lazy fat f....r
These and similar ones on Amazon are really hit and miss...great for just weight capturing on the app but fat% especially is usually way out.
I scan on a pair of Omron "medically verified blah blah blah" BF511 scales with the hand and feet measure
Right next to them are these, a pair of Eufy and a pair of Kamtron scales which are pretty much these with another name...they even share the same app.

All 3 give completely different body fat %'s. If it were around 1-2% either side its fair enough but it's usually 10-15% difference.
20 minutes after scanning on the above 3, I scan on a Bodytrax - also with a full hand/feet scan. This does not marry up with any of the above 3.

The Kamtron and Renpho are going back now but Omron ones I have had for too long and are closer to the Bodytrax. Also I want to do one more test once I rec my fat test calipers

Note: my testing on all 3 are in the same bathroom where the scales are on the same flooring with one scale per tile.
These are known to be unrealiable on carpet which is why I make this comment

So again, weight is fine, they were pretty much the same (even then with a .2kg difference) and if you want to just track this...go for it.
Anything else... not so sure. Reviews to tell similar stories - I think from what I am reading, these cheaper ones calculate based on the stats you enter in such as height, age, weight and do not reflect the actual amount of water retention, fat % etc. Maybe the Tantita and Bodytrax (and maybe even Omron) are different and it is a case of you get what you pay for or ... it might just be biologically you can't scan it with these type of devices.

I have these, dont know how accurate the measurements however I find the app really useful like all the different measurements they provide.
