Always account specific, I think. I have three Google accounts so get the offers on them like this one at different times.
Account specific - but I do have it showing on 1 out of 3 accounts.
Dumb question, how do I watch on my TV or ps4, is there a app? I don't want to cast my phone to the TV?
Any movie rentals come under the YouTube app

I think it depends what your TV is running as to whether there's a specific Play Movies & Video app (if it's Android, there certainly is, but most YouTube apps (including the PS4 one) will allow you to watch things you've bought from the Play Store.

Edit: damn this phone's awful, slow text entry

My TV and ps4 has Netflix, amazon prime for TV, now TV etc, but I have never seen a Google play movie app.

Does your TV or PS4 have YouTube? If so, sign in to that with the same account and should appear.

My son watches YouTube on our tv - not sure if he goes through the NowTV box or the Amazon Fire Stick though. Does this mean that he would be able to rent a movie and watch it through YouTube on our TV (not a smart one)? If so, how exactly would he do this? Thank you.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I already have a Google Play account and have built up over £15 in credit through answering surveys. If I purchase a film can I actually log into my Google Play account via YouTube (on my tv) to watch the film?
Sadly not for me this week
Come up £1.49 for me still a decent price so have some heat anyway.
Nothing for me other than movies under £5. I'm not that fussed as I often find that movie playback from Play store crashes on my TV.

Buy on Google Play on the web
Login to YouTube app on PS4 and it should be there
Worked for me thanks. Rented Thor Ragnarok for 99p.
What a great but of advice. Just logged into the YouTube app on my TV and accessed all my Google play purchases. Look in "Library" then "Purchases"
Yep showing for me but not sure what to rent. I really want to see jumanji but ill probably buy it eventually. Battle of the Sexes is the other and that isn't getting a bluray release here for some weird reason. And yeah any Google purchases or rental will appear in your YouTube purchases section.
I just bought a Sony tv with google play built in and you get 2x 4K movies free.
Not on mine but heat for sharing
