  • PERSON/VEHICLE DETECTION: The system now has a person/vehicle detection feature, reducing false alarms caused by waving branches and flying bugs, so it will only alert you to true threats
  • CEASELESS 24/7 RECORDINGS: Your property is now protected 24/7 without missing any important moments, as the NVR has been pre-installed with a 2TB HDD. Access and playback can also be done remotely with Reolink software
  • PLUG AND PLAY POE SYSTEM: Simple PoE connection, taking out the 60ft network cables from the video surveillance kit and connect the security cameras to the NVR ports, you can see the security camera system working with videos immediately via an HDMI monitor. So easy set up even for a beginner

I used these cameras and they are not that great. Didn't use their NVR system so not sure about it.

I haven’t had any issues with this system.

I've just installed Reolink cameras, both 5MP and 4K ones. I would recommend them, easy to set up and decent picture quality for the price. The upgrade from 5MP is not essential, particularly due to increased storage and network requirements, but can be nice to have. Biggest issue is how easy they are to remove or push sideways, for example the dome camera can just be twisted off its base without tools, but it's just a deterrant anyway. I am not using the NVR, just a Windows PC. RTSP and ONVIF need to be enabled using the Reolink software before you can use with third party apps.

Do you get alerts/notification similar to the NVR? Also 24x7 recording?
I am planning on buying one of this instead of going with Ring or Nest due to the additional subscription costs and eufy due to the recent vulnerability by The Verge. Just thinking of cabling around and also considering the HikVision ColorVu with NVR vs ReoLink.
