Absolute steal for these 4MP IP cameras. POE, ONVIF and RTSP support.

All their models have some decent discounts except the NVR which hasn't been discounted.

I've ordered 2 of each using some coupons that were on my account working out at ~£31 each. Very happy.

Free delivery.

Alibaba are literally HUGE, almost as large as Amazon. You've got to be careful as they are effectively a market place (ebay), but just check the valid stores they have. This looks legit
How do these compare to Hikvision (Hiwatch) cameras?

Alibaba are the company, aliexpress is just their "consumer" arm. Sort of like B&Q have their tradepoint

Never had any issue with delivery of items (Usually delivered within a month) but you need to think before ordering because you need to bear returning cost.
what about the quality of the items

Pretty good from my experience. Time will tell however.
I have 3 of the reolink 410 and a 423 - all are great cameras, picture quality is fantastic, the build quality is far better than you would expect and the software for iOs works great too. I have nothing but good things to say about them - I bought one and have since got rid of all my old 1080p cameras for reolink ones.
The 410 is power-over-ethernet too which makes it easy to wire in over long distances.
I had a question regarding the frame rate at night and their customer service was great, not what I expected from a Chinese firm.
I would definitely recommend these cameras, and if you have a Mac then they are brilliant with SecuritySpy software.
This is a great price too, I paid £43 for mine off eBay, and £145 for the 423.

I have them linked to my Mac - they are ONVIF compatible so my software found them straightaway. The feed can be viewed either in a web browser, the reolink software or via other apps such as vlc or SecuritySpy.

Not sure why this is being voted cold, they are great cameras and this is the lowest price I have ever seen for them!

Most don't understand what these are and even when they've read about them, they'd rather opt for a wireless option. Once voted cold, more normally follow!
It would be a real shame if people got put off them by the cold votes, as they are well ahead of the competition in picture and build quality - I have I think 8 or 9 cameras sat in a box because I was buying different ones trying to get the quality and reliability I needed and as soon as I got my first 410 I haven't bought any other make.

I use mine for monitoring wildlife in my garden and the footage I get at night of my hedgehogs, frogs, foxes, woodmice etc is fantastic, crystal clear and at 30fps with no smearing at all, no other camera I bought came even close!

yes ive had a few phones of them in the past no problems at all .
If your item breaks expect zero customer support or one that is like being in a kafka novel.

it depends how you want to use them - there is a reolink app so you can view the feed on your phone or you can log into the cameras via a web interface.
i have my mac on all the time, i can view all the cameras on a separate monitor, it records according to my schedule onto an external he connected to the mac. i can also view on my apple tv and ipad etc. i use securityspy software but i guess if you have a pc then there will be loads of windows programs that would do a similar job.
best thing to do is just follow the instructions when the cameras arrive and go from there. the camera won’t come with a power supply but i power mine over ethernet do the wiring is simple - if you haven’t got a poe injector then you can get a plug in one for about 6 quid on ebay
Is there a customs charge for this item?

how comes it's better than 1080p camera?

the resolution is higher so the image is sharper. also, unlike a lot of cameras, there is no drop in frame rate at night, you can have a full resolution at 30fps.

Lack of knowledge.
Thanks for pointing these out. Had just bought a Yi which was good except for the image quality. It was 1080p but there was far too much video compression. These seem to be in a league of their own in terms of image quality and resolution and the software looks good too. Am going to buy from Amazon/ebay Uk though.

As these are from the official Reolink store on AliExpress, I'm happy with 2 for the price of 1!

Yes, it's a good deal for sure but I was after the 410WS (SD card wifi version) which is not that much more to buy from the UK.

NVR is the device that does all the cctv recording, once connected to the cameras you can set it up with a hard drive a to record/ view or playback footage and connect to the internet so you can view on mobiles etc. The other option is to record straight from the cameras to NAS hard drive, which is not so straight forward.

the 410 is £38.50 now. Do you think it's worth that?

I'm starting my CCTV from scratch and like the look of an NVR for rock solid framerates on live review of the footage, have you experienced an NVR versus a software based "virtual NVR" like BlueIris etc?

In lieu of a decision on the NVR, I'm tempted to get one of these anyway. Bang for buck they seem up there with the best value
