Product Description
The Ryobi RCS1835 is a powerful 1800 Watt 240 Volt chainsaw that is fitted with a 35cm (14in) bar and chain that will make light work of all major tree or large shrub removal. The Ryobi RCS1835 has the latest live tool indicator that glows blue when plugged into the power supply, to warn the user there is power being supplied to the machine and that the tool is live.
The Ryobi RCS1835 has softgrip handles for greater comfort to the user when in prolonged use. It also has a fast 13m/sec chain speed that gives the chainsaw a faster operation so the user gets a good clean cut all the time with a maintained chain. The chainsaw has a large oil tank to lubricate the chain when in motion and a visible oil indicator so you can keep your eye on the oil level--this is a good safety feature and prolongs the life of the chainsaw. The RCS1835 is fitted with a fast-acting automatic chain brake--this stops the chain if kick-back occurs. The Ryobi RCS1835 chainsaw is ideal for all types of tree work and can be used in gardens with a power source.

4 stars average from 22 reviews is pretty good imo.

And you need a long extension lead if you're going to chase people. I recommend petrol.

The most expensive it has been on Amazon was £115 so £149 does seem an inflated 'was' price from B&Q. However the cheapest offered on Amazon was £60 so at £40 it certainly classes it as a very good price. Hot from me.

I've already sawn that one off, have to be Great Yarmouth instead.

A chainsaw should be petrol. I have an electric one and its rubbish by comparison then if you factor in the length of cable you are going to need too there isnt that much in it.

Oh god no. An electric chainsaw -_- petrol all the way Stihl MS362 treat yourself

I have a cheap petrol one, I'm still tempted by this, becoming a two chainsaw family. Despite being good further afield, and giving me an advantage in chainsaw fights with the kids, the petrol one is a lot more work to start so having an electric is a boon for chopping up logs back at the woodpile.

Can't believe missus won't let me get one.

"What do you want that for?"

"Chopping up members of the rival drug cartel. Obviously."

Just buy it, it's easier to get forgiveness than permission. Although that doesn't always apply in the bedroom.....
