This one is a must have!

So happy Capcom delivered phenomenal RE2 remake and very tempted to pre order! I think this is now getting very close to price I have paid for RE2 pre-order! I will give it till end of Jan!;)

I really want control and A Plague Tale: Innocence and star wars Jedi fallen order. but I am not paying those prices tho.
I’m going to hold off. The price on RE2 crashed quite quickly and is currently sub £15. I have a huge backlog so can hold off for RE3 to do the same. Very keen for this game though

Game Pass?:)

Control is supposedly coming soon and I am pretty sure there is a chance for Plague Tale as well but just a hint really and nothing confirmed:/

Star Wars can be had for less than £30 for deluxe - I have paid less for physical copy but that’s pure luck:)
Ordered 2x games from Tesco on one of the past deals with £20 odd or more discount - ended paying £50 for RDR2 and Fallen Order with £6 TopCashback on top of that. When went to pick up games, they did not have RDR2 and offered money back so ended up paying £25 for Fallen Order which is the only game I wanted as already had RDR2:)
You just gotta love the HUKD and community for posting the deals! 🙌
Started a wee Resi Evil full play through in preparation for this

Jan - Resi 0
Feb - REmake
Mar - Resi Evil 2 remake
Apr - Resi Evil 3 remake
May - Code Veronica
Etc...

I have game pass ultimate so hopefully you are right! Can I ask you what games you are looking forward to playing this year?

Game Pass rules! 🙌

RE3 & Cyberpunk are the main two!:)

I have huge backlog so don’t really follow new announcements as much as I used to when I had more time for games!;)

I am looking forward to replaying FF7-8 and playing FF9-12 for the first time ever when they land on game Pass this year so I imagine those games alone will take me most of the year anyway😜

What's in your backlog?

Everything

Control, RE2, AC Odyessy, SW Jedi Fallen Order, Crash Trilogy, Spyro Trilogy, Detroit Become Human, Batman: Enemy Within, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Links Awakening and Breath of the Wild and Phoenix Wright Remastered.

All already owned and started before thinking “no I want to pay proper attention to this and should finish something I’ve already started first”.

After writing the above out I’ve just put myself on a new game ban. Absolutely appalling amount of games to have bought, started, enjoyed but not played properly! There’s zero reason to pay anything near full price for new games right now. Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to be a tough one to avoid though.

My add is my username DEAD MEGATRON. And I am also super excited about Cyberpunk 2077 CYBERPUNK 2077!

What do you mean crashed quite quickly? It was £20+ for the best part of a year. It's only recently that there've been good deals, mostly since the digital deluxe edition went sub £20 in the PSN holiday sale. It held its price very well. If RE3 follows a similar trend you'll be waiting well over a year from now to play it.

You're not the only one. Real backlog of shame here. Too many to list! I did just get round to playing through Control though and it's fantastic, so bump that up your list (especially if you're a fan of Alan Wake or Remedy in general).
Hunt: Showdown Legendary Edition has anyone played this game and can tell me what they think?
Who's excited for little Nightmares 2?

Nice!

Would love to do RE 0 and RE1 Remake - still somewhere on my Xbox drive:/
And finally do 100% of RE2 remake...

I think it’s a nice plan:)

Waiting for remake of Code Veronica though- don’t think visuals stood the test of time:)

I had the same plan but I'm thinking if I get this I could easily complete it within 2 weeks and then sell it to cex only losing a few quid.

It dropped to around £25 in June, 6 months after release, that’s about 40% of its original value gone if we’re giving it a £40 release price. It then fell below £20 around September, that’s about than 50% of its value in just 9 months. It’s now around £12-£15 which is a drop of 65%-ish in one year.

Maybe it’s just me being old (it happens) but that’s quite a few big drops in a relatively short amount of time.

This is a good plan, but I hoard games. If be rich if I traded them in at the right time but I keep them all

I got control as a huge Alan Wake fan. On the last episode of Batman Enemy Within just now so it might be my next playthrough!
