Yet RE CV X HD still remains £14.99. Hopefully they are still rolling out the price reductions.

When you're on the purchase confirmation screen, press x to buy with MS points instead of a debit/credit card.
@tunafuturwarfare

Find Resident Evil 4 on demand and go into the info menu

Click purchase (should say £7.49) and look at the bottom

You will see the option to press X saying 'Buy with Microsoft Points'

Lastly, Enjoy
Not a bad price but not great either and I have quite a lot to play through at the moment.
Didn't even know there was an HD remake. Always meant to give this a go and definitely will now. Thanks
Good deal and American Nightmare for 600msp is a steal too.
RE4 HD really isn't worth it, even at half price. It isn't even running in HD, it looks about as good as my old PS2 version running in progressive scan mode. Only get it if you've somehow never played it before. If you have played it before and/or already own another version of the game then don't bother - it's a poor port with next to nothing HD about it. I learnt this the hard way by paying full price for it on day 1. Still a fantastic game, but it's nearly 9 years old now and shouldn't cost more than a fiver.

The CV port is even worse by all accounts.
Classy game. 1 and two and Nemisis were better though. Series went downhill after 4.

Nope, Resident Evil 4 is SP only, like all Resident Evil games should be. Although having a second player as Ashley, spending most of their time hiding in a box, would be interesting
Happy days been waiting for this to drop
Ive got Resi 4 HD and it doesnt look like a PS2 game at all. Yes the textures and stuff havent had much of a boost but it does look HD and its well worth the money now its had a price drop

Amazing game but I'd feel dirty playing it on anything other than a GC.
thanks
beat me to it lol

Just read the review by the pixel-counters* at Digital Foundry, who have validated everything you've just said.

eurogamer.net/art…iew

However, after these "HD" versions, the definitive console version is the Wii version, as its a Widescreen implementation of the GCN version, and is unlike the PS2's version which had compromised visuals.

*They literally count pixels and tell you whether or not something is actually 720p, or if it's technically 700p and thus declare it as sub-HD.

I swear Adventures of Shuggy got permanent price drop like two months ago. It was 800 but then they dropped it to 400.

Possibly true. MS are making it really quite difficult to figure out what's in this promotion by listing a load of stuff that isn't discounted on the Shocktober page (Alan Wake, Costume Quest, Castlevania SOTN etc.). Plus the top google result for the Shocktober sale is this thread, which doesn't help matters!
Bloody Good Time was always 400 points to

I'd definitely recommend Alan Wake for that price, it's a little short but it has a horde style mode which should give you a few more hours enjoyment out of it.

Have removed the standard-priced stuff from the OP and added one more discount - the universally-panned Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon is half price. That appears to be the lot for this sale, avatar tat aside
Thank got Alan Wake's American Nightmare

I know. Sadly the masses are ignorant.

Edit: The British masses. The US gaming masses seem to realise that the PS2 was pretty weak.
