I know this is only a pre-order and it will probably go down a little more but with the Amazon pre order promise its worth looking at. Probably gonna be one of the best games of 2009!

Also avaliable for the same price at HMV but I think amazon are better for delivering on the day.

Recipient of just about every game of the year award going in 2005, Resident 4 wasnt just one of the best games of the last generation it was also one of the boldest reinventions of a well established franchise ever seen. The only problem was how Capcom were ever going to top it and since almost nothing has been revealed about the game so far thats still a difficult question to answer.
Some facts are known about the game though, in that it uses the same basic gameplay and controls as Resident Evil 4, as well as some other elements from the very first Resident Evil. The latter isnt surprising as a different team are working on this new game, many of whom worked on the very first game from back on the PSone.

The trailer shows a desert, possibly Middle Eastern, setting with what appears to be fast moving zombies in pursuit of what may, or may not, be Chris Redfield. What is known is that temperature will play an important role in the game, with characters having to cool down if they get too sweaty even getting heatstroke or passing out from overheating. The game will also feature online elements for the first time in a core Resident Evil game, although again their exact nature remains a mystery. In fact the only thing thats known for certain about the game is that with a track record this good its almost certainly going to be worth the wait finding out about.

Oh and can anyone voting cold please explain! Seems to be alot of people on here these days voting cold for no reason.

Played the demo of this on xbox 360. 10/10. Definately one to get.

Will try and warm it up a little! Great game from the reviews, will get a copy ordered, thanks.

It might, but it certainly wont lose you money unless somebody does a silly offer on the weekend of release (which could happen, eg: asda). But amazon are pretty reliable for delivery on the day of release and if it does go down in price they will give it to you for the cheepest price.

more likely £27 but yes you are right

If this was to happen could you not cancel your order and get it at the cheaper price? At the moment Amazon or HMV are offering the most competitive price which is surely what you should judge this on?

I doubt it will go that low, Capcom usually price their games at around £29.99 mark so if anything It'll be a few weeks after release.

Was gona vote hot until I read that. Thanks for reminding me, you're so right. :?

Fool.

Hot pre-order price. Can't see this one being less than £30 for a long while. Unless, of course, somebody does an introductory offer.
