Resident Evil Archives gives Wii gamers the opportunity to play classic Resident Evil games they may have missed at a great value price. Experience the beginning of the Resident Evil saga with the remake of the game that started the survival horror genre, Resident Evil.

The Raccoon City Police Department doesn't know what happened to the Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) team it sent out to investigate the Arklay Mountain area, where a number of people have recently gone missing. The unit's helicopter seems to have crashed in the woods, and it hasn't received any contact from the squad since. The department decides to dispatch another S.T.A.R.S. unit, the Alpha team, to check things out but something goes terribly wrong.

You take control of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team members Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine (both recently seen in the smash hit, Resident Evil 5). Your mission is to investigate the ominous mansion at the core of the horrific disaster and uncover the secrets behind a radical, genetic research facility. With unspeakable horrors lurking around every corner, the ultimate test will be to make it out alive! Relive the thrills and terror that defined the genre of Survival Horror and launched a franchise that has sold over 40 million games worldwide.

Features:

The Original, Reborn: This is a Wii version of the classic Resident Evil remake, originally released on GameCube in 2002 which featured new rooms, areas, items and creatures that were not included in the PlayStation original released in 1996

Perhaps thats the day your more likely to get it, its prob due out tomorrow but because of the Royal Mail strikes Xmas Day is more realistic, lol

Love RE Zero - one of my best instalments imho.............

..bad import review here: ]http//uk…tml (5.4/10)

btw, your description is of the original RE remake, not Zero..................

This is SOOOOOOOO a misprice. I love gambling so ordered one. I've put a bet on it being a misprice so win either way. lol.

disclaimer - gambling is wrong wrong wrong - I didnt really...

just slapped my pre order in, if i get it great, if not nothing lost, hot if we all get it.

Lol ironically its cheaper than the GC version in some places. Also it's not got any proper Wii controls - its just another lousy port. Resident Evil 2 has 5 ports of this game....of which nothing is different about them.

Still as a Resident Evil fan, I'll probably get it.

possible 3% quidco as well, anyone confirm this?

Lol, that is funny :-D

milking the series again, i doubt its a misprice, they will all come down to £14.99

I'm not really clear whether this is just the 1st RE revamped or the actual archive of RE games? It says in the description of THIS disc "Resident Evil Archives gives Wii gamers the opportunity to play classic Resident Evil games" - but doesn't subsequently mention anything other than a revamp of one ancient (though good) game?

This is just Resident Evil zero which was released on the Gamecube with updated wii controls. They are releasing some of the gamecube games on the Wii, I believe the Gamecube Resi remake is already out.
Good game, my memories include..... the leech creatures being consistently terrifying and freaky, those evil monkeys and the scorpion, wtf was it doing on the train's roof?! lol
