Difficult to swallow when the triple pack has been as low as £12.99 on PSN.

Only RE4 on cart; 5 and 6 require downloads
I never understand why they do this, have a double game collection or triple but only have 1 on there and the others have be downloaded, same with spyro trilogy, should of left it as digital only then.
The demo for 5 and 6 on the eshop dont run very well
That’s expensive but works out cheaper than buying all 3 on the eshop.

Switch Tax is ridiculous
Not a good deal, 2/3 games require downloading and from what I've read, the ports are not great.
So expensive...

Switch Tax is ridiculous

Same thing happens any time a game is released on a new format. The bundle is £40 on Ps4 right now, let's compare apples with apples.
Over £50 for 3 remastered games and considering RE6 was probably the worst in the series this is “Nintendo / Switch tax” at its finest.

Over inflate the price of last generation games whilst the library is still small and people will buy them..

So, it appears that 5 and 6 might be single use, not a "season pass disc" arrangement

it's not a nintendo tax. it's a greedy publisher tax.

in this instance nintendo have ZERO to do with capcom's decision to over charge for CERTAIN games. megaman 11 for example is the same cost on ps4 and switch.

there are plenty of 'honest' game devs that are happy to launch games on switch for equal to or lower than the ps4/xbox equivelant. (wolfenstein young blood, mortal kombat, sonic mania, crash team racing, overwatch, jedi outcast)

in fairness, the switch library is currently massive. it's not a case of inflate because people need to buy them it's inflate prices cause people WANT to buy them.

fact is right now every smaller or remastered game on switch, comfortably outsells the equivalent game on either console (often combined). Sad truth is it's logical to charge more if people are happy to pay more, frankly wouldn't be surprised if they'd sold more resi 4 on switch at twice the price than they did on ps4 or xbox.

Probably for collectors.
I can’t believe how expensive that is considering RE4 is from 2 generations ago

Fully agree that the price is high in particular because not all 3 games are included in the cartridge. But if you really want this game in physical format there's no better alternative at the moment (importing from Amazon US works out more expensive and will take longer).

Regarding the Switch's library, I think we are way beyond the point where it can be considered small... The prices may not always be great, but there's a huge amout of quality games already available.

people still often refuse to buy digitally, (not cause they don't have access, they just dislike or feel uncomfortable buying that way) so they need to make their product available to the masses.

as for why they put some of the content as digital, well simply put multiple discs or in this case carts are expensive. digital costs nothing.

& of course, digital age means they can print games earlier than ever because they can simply patch fixes later. as opposed to the huge delays we used to see case in point spyro remastered.

Its actually not that far off for digital, for all 3 it works out at £53.40 using region swap

As I see it it should either be all on cart or all digital not this small cartridge nonsense

I still buy physical media and barely buy digital, ive lost quite a few games thanks to suddenly some digital games disappearing, my point is if someone who had a very limited internet connection or poor connection, games like spyro trilogy on disc would be a disaster for them, spending hours upon hours to download those games or unable to download them at all.
Currently playing resi evil 4 it's still great , £2.50 from cex on Wii

RE4 is on sale at the US eShop for $20. If you own RE4 you get a 33% discount on RE5 and RE6 (making those $20 each too) so all 3 would be $60/£46.75.

Wikipedia currently list 1864 games available for switch. Not sure how many are indie, etc, but I personally wouldn't call that library small.

It’s the Denatonium Benzoate that make them difficult for me to swallow
Wtf how much? Does it come with a free Switch for that price?
