Pizza hut have been messing me around by saying " we'll pass it onto our finance team" blah blah blah .... I'm sick and tired of the nonsense they come out with. They just pass you around from one department to the other and in the end they cut you off!!! I took it to resolver and hopefully they can fight this with me.

I hope you get your "dough" soon!

I've heard people mention Resolver in posts on HUKD without knowing what they meant.

Thanks!
I just want one single reason for the cold vote. Or maybe I missed something?!!

Resolver don’t fight for you they just direct the complaint to the correct department and keep log of everything and help escalate further if companies do not reply. But great site got 4 months free from Virgin because of them.
Tried them out when had issues with Samsung (Note 7 debacle) & Amazon wouldnt honor something I bought (PSVR USA contents listed on UK - included more)

In both cases nothing was done.

So my personal experience, glorified logging system.

Yes it’s just a tool but a great one. Eventually got a refund on a £150 phone from carphone warehouse using this.

You are right. I tried using them two times for different issues, each time there has been literally no response whatsoever from them, even after 'escalating' the issue multiple times. Stopped using them ages ago. Waste of time.
Does anybody know the likelihood of making a successful complaint to BT about a missing cashback claim?

Basically they messed up the order numbers on my account then declined the cashback. Have lodged a missing cashback complain through TCB but BT haven’t responded after nearly two months

Same, used once - no response at all. Not saying its worthless, just my experience of them
I used this to claim compensation for flight delays, took a little while but was really easy and ended up getting £300 per person compo so can't complain.

My understanding is that resolver is a programme, there's no team behind it to escalate to other than developers of the programme. It provides letter template examples and contact details for the companies in the first instance. It then tracks the complaint and if after a specified time the complaint has not been resolved or resolved satisfactory it highlights the escalation route available (if there is one) such as an ombudsman for that industry. What they don't do (to my knowledge) is help with individual complaints or create escalation routes that don't exist in law or support today. That doesn't detract from your rights to go to court if you really feel agreived but think people need to understand it has limitations.
Used this for a miss-sold packaged bank account, supposedly they raised my claim to the FOS but after contacting the FOS they have nothing on my case..... waste of time!!
I've used resolver in the past and it does get results. Recently used it to complain about Amazon warehouse deal and Amazon won't deal with them but most company's will.

Probably as its a moneysavingexpert site related tool so those users will vote it cold here (apple vs android )
They are great for PPI recovery. And bank related stuff... other than that not sure.
Ppi for me worked a treat - sat back forgot about it, next thing I know letters coming in left right and centre from all past dealings with either questions need answering to proceed further or cheques for miss sold ppi - well worth 45 minutes in front of the website
I got 600 quid back because of delayed flights its easy to use.

Just take them to the small claims court. As long as you can show you have been reasonable in trying to resolve the complaint with them first

I used Resolver when BT's so called high value department would not budge on giving me my credit back, that is in spite of multiple complaints and them cancelling my account for complaining.
Went thru resolver and in the first round (which is their normal complaint level) nothing happened but in the second round (escalated complaint) got resolved quite quickly and things were put right.

I would definitely go thru resolver, which is more formal and guided, raising the issue to the right people at BT. The best thing is there are no costs for using the service.
Not needed to use myself but heat for the information
It is so sad you have to use this kind of tools to resolve easy straight forward things. Things should be done directly with the companies not via outside organisations. Unfortunately, it seems it becomes a culture companies to charge too much, not to deliver promises or to sell things of poor quality and not fit for purpose. This is probably due to too much red tape, automated systems or simply, lack of training and professionalism. You get charged £10-20 extra and have to waste hours on the phone, passed from one department to another and so on. You have to keen an eye on your bank statement all the time. Sometimes I feel companies are doing this in purpose, knowing you will not take action as it will take too long to solve an issue, or simply you will not notice they are taking more from your account. They know you will not bother with the small court claims if it is a small amount you want back. I wish to have some sort of legislation so companies to pay 10 times more if they make a mistake. They overcharge 100 people, only 5 notice this, they compensate 3 and off course this is profitable business for them. Recently resolve 2 warranty issues, only 12 months in the UK, quoted EU legislation as 24 months and they fixed the items despite the fact these were 13 months old.

Super, thanks for the advice.

I'm so pleased this service has taken off. I actually presented at a conference with the MD of Resolver about two years ago when it was in its infancy. Seems it's gone from strength to strength since then - I've since seen him on TV at least twice
I used them to chase up missold bank account and had money in bank in less than 2 weeks

Same, it was ignored at all points of escalation except the final one (when complaint escalated to regulator) where I was told I had been directed to the wrong regulator.

But do you have to go through each bank link to file a claim for each bank account you hold in the past?

I have dealt with so many banks and the only thing stopping me to file for PPI is to contacting all banks individually.

Does someone know a site or a way where I only file one claim and they deal with all the banks for me?
Brilliant and free, claimed ppi and had a right result a lot more than expected.

Thanks. I was looking for it.
+1 on the info..

+2 on the office space they work out of!

No wonder they win so many cases in that working environment
My experience of Resolver, thank you just got my windows replaced with £5500 worth of PPI, filled in a form and receive done telephone call, followed by a letter confirming the amount. No complaints from me.
Thanks OP.
Finally I sent a PPI claim through Resolver. I was putting it off for many months and finally decided to do it today!
Process is simple. Thanks for the encouragement from others who did it already.
Used it for PPI complaint and won, great free tool!

Yes but you will get it refunded if you win. I have found that as along as you can evidence you have been more than reasonable they will accept liability without it going to court as they know this will cost them more
