I am currently a BT customer and my prices are rising in April by £2.50 per month from £28.99 to £31.49 for Infinity 1 (up to 53 mb and unlimited) + line rental + weekend calls. So oddly today I got an email telling me if I signed up for 24 months I could get the exact same package for £25.99 per month, no set up fees just a straight swap over so avoiding the price rises.

I also confirmed that if the price rises within that 24 month period I still have the right to cancel within 30 days of the price rise notification.

I know this is probably going to get rather cool but it might help some existing BT customers who can't get the pre-paid credit card and cashback deals for being a new customer.

I know the deal goes to the main BT site but this isn't online as you have to call 0800 0288464, tell them you received the email and they will be able to find the deal for you.

Yep as I said you can't get that deal as an existing customer, the clue is in the title !

But you can probably move elsewhere and get a better deal which again probably will have better customer care than these.

Trust me I tried but neither Sky, EE, Talk Talk or Vodafone could match the deal and certainly not for 2 years.
BT tried to convince me what a good deal this was. It isn't so i switched to EE.

I would gladly pay a little more to leave them, was a customer for 25 years and when I needed them they were no help couldn't think about being tied into anyone for two years even though you can leave at their next price rise. Have a check of the cash back sites, including uswitch.
Heat from me. I'm on the same package including the price hike, however, I was offered to move to Infinity 2 (up to 76mb) for the same cost for 18 months. Decided to take it.
offered me £23.99 and only 12 months contract.took it

Had the same offer from BT but switched away to TalkTalk for around the same price, but for a genuinely fixed price 18 month contract - and substantially better benefits package with all the BT add-ons provided for free instead of silly money.

No difference in the service - except that the TalkTalk customer service is substantially better than BT's. Thank you BT though for providing all my services for a few months at a net profit - to me!

Some people can't move especially when they have FTTP product supplied by BT.

Yes, line rental is included
I received this too. Only signed up in December at £27.99 for Infinity 1 + line rental + weekend calls. That was the Black Friday deal at the time. So £25.99 all in is a no brainer and a saving for me. The BT hub gives full wifi coverage so what's not to like?!

Oh and I've had great support from BT when I had an issue with phone line, so it's the usual BT bashing which takes the shine off this. Rated it HOT.
Or you can go in as a new customer by signing up in your partners name and get last weeks deal , which would be around £13 on a 12 month contract.

Thanks, I kinda knew I was on to a loser when I posted it but it may help some and that's what HUKD is about, appreciate the warmth though
Thanks OP, for me this was HOT as I had good deals with BT on my sports/TV and mobile, but not on the broadband. They would not give me anything when I said I was leaving, and I would have lost my discounts on the sports/mobile if I moved, so I tried your deal. Still said no but a bit of insistence that I had this email and they eventually honoured it. It is true the new customer deal appears better, but that's for 12 months. Over 24 months then the costs work out similar. Of course you may get another good deal after 12 months and 'win again', but with this you know what it will cost for 24 months (subject to the usual unplanned price increases as its a commercial profit based system which is to complex for simple competition to work well, and a weak regulator). I know some don't like 24 month deals or BT, so there are lots of reason to vote cold. But for some, (well me and at least another poster!), this was good. Thanks again.
Virgin media are doing a 12 month contract (Broadband, line rental and talk weekends) for £25 / Month.

There's a £14.99 activation fee as well.

It's available on uswitch.com

I took out ( New Customer Infinity BT Broadband + Calls ) on the 21st of March 2017 with TopCashBack at the last moment of BTs deal and I completed the order though TCB with BT but I added on the £8.99 Unlimited Anytime Calls, but I am a bit confused, I don't know if it was compulsory for me to add on the Unlimited Anytime Calls, because I saw the + Calls bit on TCB I thought I had to add the Calls onto my package or was it ?? If this add on was not compulsory I don't know if I would lose the CashBack from TopCashBack if I ask BT to remove it, I have asked TCB but no reply yet, Has anybody else done this.
