I've seen a few different deals floating which service various price points, but mine was pretty good provided you're willing to pay a little upfront.

The package is a Huawei P20 Pro on a 4gb per month with a bonus 5gb currently (so 9gb total plan) with unlimited mins/sms.

The front page price of this exact same package is £47 per month with £29 upfront (£1157 total).

I negotiated with the retentions department and got it down to a £22.50 per month with £143 up front (£540+£143 = £683 total).

The cheapest I can find the phone outright new right now is £680 from a Hong Kong seller, so this is a good deal for most people. 9gb might not be enough for power user, but for most of us along with wifi it's perfect.

Not the most hot hot hot deal ever, but surely worth considering.

I had to go past the upgrade people on the online chat and into retentions. They will offer you a maximum of 30% off, but this offer ended up being just over 40% off .

I will warn that the phone wasn't in stock so my order didn't process properly by the initial customer service person, and when I got back online the next day they seemed to think that I should be paying £399 upfront on the same plan, so I might have snuck through an exceptional deal, but I had the transcript emailed as proof and they've honoured the deal. Good luck!

Yeah? Share a link ... cause I'm 99% sure you're not talking about the P20 Pro.

The P20 regular? Sure, but not the Pro. Not at £500 haha.

100% a mistake - I saw that, and the store changed it apparently. The real price was £799.

It also looks like the picture might have been edited - the angle of the price tag is different to all of the rest. Cheap photoshop? Maybe.

Exactly, I've rarely had any luck with retention deals posted here.

P20 lite sure you can for sub £20 per month. P20 ive managed to get for £21 per month with 4gb data and another p20 with 32gb of data for £24,60 and I haven't heard of anybody yet being able to get the 32gb offer as I did on that

Fair enough. I mean, it's probably not far off what anyone can get.

I've been with them for like 18 months or so, and on a £13 sim only deal before that, so we're not talking a high end user.

I started the conversation with them trying to get your deal on the P20 (couldn't get that low) but realised I wanted the Pro model anyway. The IP67, much larger battery, and better camera are worth it, and I don't need 32gb of data lol.

In the end, I think the deal I got was bloody good, and even if someone else could only get it for say £100 more it would still be an okay deal for a brand new flagship device with that much data.
Even if you can't get exactly the same retention deal, it's good to know what other people are getting as benchmarks, and to see how much of a rip off the advertised prices are.

I wanted the P20 Pro as well in the first place but I wanted my contract to stay sub £25 and with the Pro they asked a lot more for the 32gb. I need that for work purposes hence why i had a sin o ly plan with 20gb since it was a good deal at the time. In 2 years time ill see what they've got and try to get same kind of deal for a new device. Im quite pleased with the P20 so far. Battery lasts me over 16 hours of norma use so since I wake up until i get. To sleep so just what i needed
just wanted to know if I already have a plan that is over a year can I get another deal with Vodafone for a cheaper price or do I have to upgrade the existing plan
Its worth mentioning that apparently different offers can be applied when youre chatting with Vodafone online to what you can get over the phone. I was told during online chat that usually over the pjone they can do much better deals
Good deal nice negotiation there. I’m feeling proper done on my deal for an iPhone 8. I just don’t think I could deal with going to android.

What's the advisor's name?
I ended up leaving vodafone because they wouldnt give me a p20 pro deal under 25 a month. Its good to see that offers can be had. I would have taken this deal if i had been offered it.
dose anyone known a good deal from 3 for Huawei P20 Pro
Just bought this phone and it is amazing.
The battery just won't die!
It has an Infrared blaster and also a learning mode where you just point any remote at it and press a button on the remote and it stores that button. Make your own remote with all your different electronics all on the same page.
Screen is nice .
Loads of gesture shortcuts. The camera which I haven't really tested of yet is supposed to be one of the best.
Sound quality is cool with the twin speakers.
I have come from the Note 8 and I find this phone much more manageable to hold and use with a small sacrifice on screen size.
Not expired! Chating with voda retentions, he's giving me 9gb for 21.50pm and 136 upfront, incredible deal, thanks op! If I didn't buy p10 plus a month ago decisions decisions

You wanna talk good deals? I agreed to the original sale/contract of this phone on May 3rd ... the very last qualifying day for the free Bose Quiet Comfort 35 ii bluetooth noise-cancelling headphones, which I've just got Vodafone to agree to give to me outside of the Huawei pre-order claim process.

So (using cheapest deals I can find online) that's a £679 phone, with a £299 pair of headphones, and 24 months of 9gb data plus unlimited bits (say £240 @ £10 p/month?) for a total value of £1218 AT BEST ... for £683.

This is the first time I've EVER felt like I managed to stick it to the phone companies.

I was told by vodafone that they couldn't come close to these deals.... why I hate the retention lottery!
