My bird's been with them for ages, over two years and never had a problem... switching to them was easy and everytime one of these data increases is offered, she rings and it honored. Hopefully it'll be the same with this one.

For those concerned I’ve been with Plusnet a fair few years now, never had any problems with them. U.K. call centres and the staff have been generally good the few times I’ve spoken to them.

Are you sure those prices are for non-broadband customers? I've followed the link at it offers 10GB/month for £10 (30 day contract, still a good price), not 12GB. I upgraded mine to 10GB last week and even got put through to retentions to see if they could up it any but that was as high as I could go without their broadband or 12mth contract.

Will this be honoured over the phone? I think my girlfriend is on 10GB/£10 but she's always having to turn off data in the latter stages of the month... this would be handy! I couldn't see anyway to the deal through the links here or uSwitch.

If you’re happy with 10GB, you can use TCB for potential £50 cashback.

Are they using EE ?
Personally I'd hold fire on these deals. I pay £6 monthly, usually for much less data etc but since lockdown it's been upped to 10gb and unltd mins & texts. Once we resume to 'normal' then I'll be looking for a better deal.

I pay £6.30 a month which includes VAT (though I started paying £6) for 3 GB, but my data has not been upped since the lockdown - are they supposed to be giving extra data for free to all of their customers, as I have not been given any? Thank you.

I know what it says I was asking the op what did he get on his retention deal like was he on a one month rolling or 12 month plan as he didn't state what he was on originally and what he got extra
This company has the worst customer service ever, they lie, stop your direct debit to incur you fees and refuse to let you leave

I been with them 4 years from when they were life mobile, best service, flexible to change plans and great coverage.
I have been with Plusnet for several months, and no issues. Ordering the SIM and switching the phone number was a painless process, and it has been working fine since. In London, working much better in term of coverage and speed than any network relying on 3 (like Smarty, which was no good).
Honestly good coverage in Central London and Cardiff. Never had a problem. Customer support are nice and helpful. Would recommend. They are better than 3 imo

Joined them in Feb (broadband) and it was a rollercoaster of ineptitude. None of their call centre staff have any idea about IT, beyond the basic procedures (e.g., "test the line", "dispatch engineer").
They routers they provide aren't fit for purpose, which left us with DHCP issues, resulting in constant connection issues. Trying to explain this to the apparent supervisor was like trying to bash my head against a brick wall.
Genuinely worse than TalkTalk, whose £0.35 an hour staff at least send replacement hardware like hotcakes.

They virgin
They have 3 month rollover data. So if she mostly uses wifi then data is built up for when she needs it. My wife's data came handy on 2hrs road journeys when my toddler wanted to watch peppa pig to keep him busy. She had 12gb that rolled upto 36gb. Now shes on 25gb for £15 a month so will have a whopping 75GB when she needs it. Not that shes going anywhere next few months.

I’ve phoned them before and asked them to increase it to that deal and they have there’s also smarty with 30gb unlimited calls and texts for £10 a month if she’s sim only

Yup, Smarty's Three though. I'm with Three and I'm definitely not their biggest fan right now, I certainly wouldn't be encouraging anyone else to join them

I'll get her to check this out later.
Just upgraded both kids phones to 16Gb.. 20 minute phone call but had to go through to retentions and they had to issue a PAC code... all good though thanks OP.

Never had an issue either.
Just got the 14GB deal on all my 3 family accounts (previously 10GB for 10) they need to issue PAC to complete, takes around 25 mins. 12 Month deal
Just to say I’ve been with them for years. They always upgraded me when new offers were available. Same coverage as EE. Only downside is no WiFi calling. Customer service has been fine too.
