I have ordered from deal extreme in past and cheap goods delivered ok. 13p delivered though, are they looking for people with iphones (=disposable income) and their contact details? or simple misprice
Or am I just paranoid - looks over shoulder

Surely it would be cheaper for them to just throw them in the bin? oO

13p delivered? DELIVERED?! How do they even get delivery for 13p let alone including a product in the envelope?

No brainer for that sort of price

How can this country remain competitive when we have the joke that is the Royal Mail.

Nice, my case is screwed, so why not? Bought five in "case" any friends need them

Don't know what you guys are complaining about...
Your not losing out... 100 case here I come..!!!

Ordered 2 @ $0.38 .... bargain if i get them

Will these orders be fulfilled? Surely its a mistake as a stamp in the UK is over 30pence!

Damn I paid 90p from amazon.

For people wondering how could they do this when the postage costs more, as it is coming from places like china the postage costs is next to nothing and Royal Mail are obliged to deliver it without being paid.

Bargain, good ole deal extreme

500 ordered, even at 50p a go

1500000 ordered

That's a lot of stock they have or something isn't smelling right here.

coolest iphone case you can get - constantly baffles members of the older generation as to just why im carrying a cassette tape round with me

On reading the reviews the main issue with these is you have to pull it off each time you charge, otherwise hot!

boot fairs here i come...... IF honoured

Checkout through PayPal - secure and safe. Discounted item so maybe they just have surplus of a slow-selling item.

The truth behind the price is that they're trying to encourage people to buy loads of these and attempt to sell them. They will obviously make no profit out of you buying just one, but the people who buy 100, 200, 1000 etc will more than make up for it. Or at least that's the theory The fact that it is 13p and on a deals site will mean that word spreads fast, meaning more potential people buying in bulk.

Really clever marketing actually.

Bought 4. Thanks

If your buying one of these from Deal Extreme, why not just PM me your bank details, i promise and swear down on my mothers life that i will leave some money in your bank account so you dont starve to death. But if you dont trust me then go ahead, give them the chance to clear you out.

Not really. The same proportion of people will still buy them individually - so although I've no idea how much it costs to post something internationally from China, it can't really be a whole lot less than 13p (if at all)! Other than that, selling items for a low cost is always going to attract more sales in general.

Ive dealt with dealextreme before.

Takes about 3-5 days (sometimes longer) for them to post off your stuff and then another 2 weeks for it to arrive,
So you'll be waiting about a month, but it does come.

They pay cheaper postage since theyre sending from China, they have nothing to do with Royal Mail.

Surely a misprice. Must cost them more than 13p for delivery alone.

Same proportion, yes, but higher volume. Example:

Sell 100 individual units @ £1 each, say you break even after manufacturing costs and postage, so this makes £0 profit or loss
Sell 10000 units from bulk orders @ £1 each, postage costs are much lower, so your net profit could be 10% or so, so £1000

Make something so cheap that it goes viral on a deals site, and you increase your volume of sales. i.e

Sell 1000 individual units @ £1 each, break even
Sell 50000 units in bulk orders £50,000 taken in cash, 10% profit = £5000

The above figures are PURELY for example. The retailer could easily break even or make a loss on individual purchases, but profit overall, is what I'm saying.

"Anti-skidding ability perfectly fits iPhone 4"

Bullsh*t!!

According to the hong kong post website it costs the average person to £0.44 to post this to the UK.

So business rates and the volume of mail they do must bring it down a bit.
