Absolute steal for the price. Play your original NES cartridges in HD!

Single review highlights flaws with sound in particular, but not sure if that's common to all buyers of course.

Absolute steal? Looks like an absolute trademark steal lol

Well there's clearly no issues as Hyperskin have made several of these consoles now.

How else are you supposed to play your carts legally in HD?

Well I'm not gonna stop you; rather than buying a MiniSnes (or this) I went the RetroPi route instead lol

I have the Nes and Snes Classic, but I want to play games legally.

RetroPi is just piracy.

The classic machines are a marketing strategy, and whilst yes, it's a form of piracy with RetroPi, the physical games aren't produced anymore, so aren't hurting Nintendo or any of the other major producers financially in all reality, hence it's seemingly tolerated. I intend to go the RetroPi route soon, but I have an old SNES, N64 and Gamecube too.

Does this do anything the Retron5 doesn't, apart from look like a NES and being a cheaper option? Genuinely curious.

Someone on one of my joined facebook group is trying to sell this for £140 no doubt someone will buy it in the crazy built up around christmas.

Not true...

Those ROMs you have may be available to download on the Wii/Wii U/Switch store - so when you use a Mario 3 ROM, it's the same type of piracy as if you were pirating a new PC game.

Maybe... but the image quality on a HDTV with the original NES is shocking.

Mate people don't understand what it is because you put clone in the title. They think it's a cheap plug and play clone console to put roms on or comes pre-loaded with games.
