Excellent price for a direct return flight to New York especially as the current prices seem stuck around the £250 to £260 mark With the flights being in March 2020, this gives you plenty of time to prepare too. Hand luggage only.

Example dates (confirmation in the image below):
2nd - 9th March
2nd - 11th March

There may be more dates too.

Good price for sure

The United plane they use for that route is from the dark ages though, I regularly use the route for business but has been cancelled lots of times due to breakdowns.

Have you seen all the Orlando deals recently? There are plenty of flights at £199 if you can leave in the next few weeks Admittedly useless if you are planning for next year however

Oh I have, yes. I wish I could afford to go in the next few weeks. I haven't got any holidays booked until Autumn now I was thinking about holding off and booking last minute next year but knowing my luck, it wouldn't work out. £199 return is amazing!
OP thanks for this, my mum and dad were about to book virgin flights for about £900 each so you have saved them a small fortune.
Just come back. Fantastic amazing city. Take lots of cash and prepare for £10 American sized smaller pints!

I would urge anyone looking at this to steer well clear of Travel Up.

I had a nightmare with them a few years back where they made an error with my name. I noticed it immediately when I reviewed the confirmation email, advised their joke of a customer service department to rectify before issuing the ticket, a couple of hours later they issue the ticket with part of my name still missing and demanded I pay £50 to change it. Looking at reviews of this company since, it seems I'm not alone in experiencing their shady practices.

Where as Feefo score looks like they've been at it, boosting up the rating with the 5 star reviews.

This is one of those situations where you're better off paying the extra few pounds and book with the next cheapest provider or better yet direct with the airline if the difference is a fraction of the cost.

Just looking at the 2nd - 9th March date, those flights are with United. You can buy them direct at £235.

I agree that you should be wary of 3rd party sites like this, but to balance it out I booked 2 tickets for my parents and they were live on United's site within a few minutes - clearly if you can get the same price direct with the airline then that is definitely the way to go. I think where sites like TravelUp fall down is when people need to change names, dates etc then they seem to be bad to deal with.

Well I put the same dates in and it shows the same flights. I wonder why it's a different price for me.
